The woman couldn't help frown that painted over her face when the boy barged past her... well, he didn't exactly barge past, but she was still a little aggravated that he'd done it at all. She clamped down on the inside of her cheeks in annoyance, along with her hands balling up into a fists. Honestly, who did this boy think he was? It was one thing talking to her like she wasn't of any importance, but a whole other other thing pushing her around. It wasn't the first time he'd done this either, and the last time she had managed to think nothing of it. She let out an annoyed breath. She wasn't trying to make things worse with her daughter... and yelling at the boy like she wanted to wouldn't make things any better. She shrugged it off ans kept on walking... or tried to. She definitely had better things to do than try and argue with some kid.

(I'm thinking we have them get into an argument when Sage helps out with this whole training thing? Maybe he says something about her way of ruling or some shit. Then she slaps him? I'm going to struggle to make her angry enough other wise lol)

(Lol yeah that works. He could just insult her and the king and that's when she gets mad)

Sage felt himself still keyed up even after he got back to the room...he really wanted to sleep, but he found himself just pacing around the room over and over again. Storming around, practically. He really shouldn't be doing this...maybe he needed a bit of pain to keep him in line. Honestly, he was starting to hurt, though it didn't really bother him. At least, not to the extent that he stopped pacing. He was panting by then ...man, he needed to calm down. But he just couldn't sit down. Eventually, when he felt blood running down his back, he sighed and decided to go take a cold shower in hopes that it would calm him down. Cool him off, both literally and figuratively....he was hot now.

Anyas little family lunch seemed to drag on for... hours. Sure, having Luther there to liven things up a bit did help, but she couldn't get over how dull the rest of them were. They were pretty much talking about the same things as always, all the gossip about the going on of the surrounding kingdom. It was admittedly nice for a little while, but it got boring soon enough. Though, it's be rude to pick up and leave so soon, so the girl just decided to wait it all out until everyone decided they'd had enough of each other for the day. The girl sat for a little while, kind if recovering from the boredom before forcing herself up and wandering down the halls. She thought for a moment about just going back to her room and chilling out on her balcony when she saw her mother storm past her, carrying all kinds of papers and books, along with a maid behind her all piled up with documents and sheets... she wandered for a moment as to what was going on, and just kind of stood there for a moment before rolling her eyes and continuing on her way... though, she did decide to drop in on Sage on the way past, just to see if he needed anything... if not, then she could steal the book she'd been reading to him and finish it off. The girl knocked on his door before slipping in and carefully closing the door behind her. She looked around before hearing the shower and going to grab a seat to wait for the boy... she doubted he'd be too long.

Sage showered quickly, mostly because he was washing himself furiously to try and calm himself down. Though, it only worked so well. He was really only in there for half an hour or so, most of the end was just to stand there in the cold. Try to calm down as much as possible. Once he started shivering, he forced himself to get out of the shower and dry off, get dressed, that sort of thing. He was in his room, so he flipped his hair back and out of his face so it could dry better and wasn't getting his face wet and slid out of the bathroom. He noticed Anya there and muttered a greeting. It was through a yawn, so he gave a little flutter of a wave as he said hello before flopping onto the bed on his stomach tiredly. Now that he'd calmed down, he was even more tired than before, and his back hurt again, though that was his own fault.

Once the boy got back, Anya gave a soft wave in response. "You look exhausted," she noted softly before standing up from the little chair and grabbing the book from his side table. She offered a small smile before waddling over and perching just on the side of his bed. The girls smile became a little more inward when she actually saw his face. Sage had his reasons for hiding behind his hair, she knew that, but it would be a lie to say she didn't like actually being able to see him... actually look in those gorgeous eyes of his. "I was just checking in to see if you needed anything... then I'll be on my way," she noted gently.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "I decided to go in a walk and pretty much just ended making myself mad at your mom again," he admitted with a sigh. "Though, she said she wanted me to help with training. I assume you had something to do with that." He rolled over onto his back, which hurt a bit but not enough to make him want to not look at her face. He smiled softly and patted her leg. "You do what you want, I'll be asleep if I can manage it." He tilted his head up slightly, as if asking for a kiss before she left. If she wanted to she'd do it, and if not she probably wouldn't notice the gesture...it was only a slight movement.

The girl chuckled softly and gave a slight nod. "The woman would do anything to have me in her favor... I mentioned a while back that you might like to over see the training. Thought it'd be good to give you something to do." Sage would surely be getting bored at some point... he was used to things going a lot faster down in the slums, so things being a little more lowkey in the castle would probably bore him soon enough. What better way to keep occupied than to train a literal fleet of guards? He seemed to enjoy trying to teach Anya too, so hopefully it'd be fun for the boy. It'd be up to him if he chose to do it or not. She did notice his slight movement, which amused her a little, but she didn't miss a beat leaning in to press a slightly more drawn out kiss to his lips before resting a hand on his cheek. "I'll see you in a bit," she noted with a small chuckle.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Once I can manage to stop busting myself open again I'll see what I'm dealing with," he murmured. "It's better than laying here," he admitted. He would feel better if he knew what all the guards were capable of anyway, so if course he'd help out. He couldn't help but let the goofy grin spread across his face when she leaned over and kissed him. She seemed almost eager to kiss him too, which amused him a bit but of course he liked it. He patted the hand on her cheek lightly and grinned up at her. "I'll be here," he giggled before resting his head head on his hands with a yawn that admittedly, looked a little bit like a tiny bunny yawn or something. Oh well, he was too tired to even blush at this point.

Anya gave him a grin in return, softly patting the boys cheek after his little yawn, unable to help the tiny snigger that escaped her. The girl brushed a few strands of hair out of his face before standing up and grabbing the book again. Once she got back to her room she fully intended to binge read then fall asleep. It wasn't late or anything, but she was drained from pretty much everything. Her family was just draining, and she had lost a good few hours of sleep last night when she was trying to help Sage. Well, she didn't even get back to sleep for long after that - mostly because his bed simply wasn't as comfortable as hers. Saying that, if he needed someone to just stay up with him again, she'd do it if it'd help him out. If he needed her - well, he knew where she was. Tucked away in her own room, just enjoying the quiet.

Sage fell asleep pretty quickly...he pretty much made a face at Anya and the fell asleep. He didn't even hear her leave the room or close the door. It was a deeper sleep, thankfully, so the dreams he had were few and far between. The ones he did have were odd, little snippets of weird things that he could sleep through easily. He woke up briefly to move up so he was up against the pillow instead of the sheets, because it was more comfortable, but then went back to sleep soon after. He woke up in the morning stuff and definitely sore, but decidedly better than the day before. Which was surprising, considering he'd hurt his back pacing. Though, he'd probably only reopened a few cuts at that. So maybe it wasn't as bad as he'd thought. He was fine to lay around though...he'd just wait around and if Anya came that would be great and if not he'd just sleep all day. Though, if the girl did come she'd probably make him eat.
