He nodded, calling the doctor in and getting the all clear. He carried Lorelei to the car carefully, murmuring reassurance to her

Lorelei cried slowly. She was still scared. She was terrified. The hospital let her keep her hospital gown, as she didn't have any clothes on when she was admitted into the hospital. She got into the car with Kai, holding his hand tightly and crying quietly the entire way home.

Kai carried her into the house, murmuring reassurance the whole way as he grabbed her sweatpants and one of his t shirts. He helped her change and got her a little food before going and giving it to her. "Here, baby" he said, sitting beside her on the bed

Her father heard the noise of them coming in and rummaging around. He got up with a low groan and drew his pistol from his bedside table, walking towards the noise. He entered the room, pistol aimed at them. He sighed, seeing it was only Lorelei and Kai. "What the hell happened?" He growled.

Kai stiffened, holding his breath in fear

Lorelei was still crying. "It wasn't Kai, Daddy, I promise," she breathed. Her father sighed lowering his pistol and holstering it as he knew Lorelei was scared of them. He ran a hand over his face. "We'll talk about this in the morning. Sleep," he said, kissing her forehead before stalking back to his room.

Kai shook with fear, pushing it down as he moved his attention to Lorelei. "Do you need anything, baby?"

Lorelei shook her head, shaking in fear. "No," she breathed, clinging onto him tightly.
