Sage nodded when Amira came back up for him, relaxing now that Liz was ok. "Yeah," he hummed, moving to slide off the bed and go wander over to the stairs, letting Amira help him down

Once they were downstairs, she sighed and picked up the again crying Liz. "Baby, sh"

Sage let Amira go get Liz and made his way to the couch. "Is she ok," he asked, peering over at them.

"Just fussy" she said quietly, exhausted

Sage hummed softly and nodded. "Want me to take her? You look tired," he noted softly

"No, it's fine" She said shakily, clearly bholding back tears of defeat

Sage snorted and held his hands out. "You're literally tearing up. Give me the baby and take a nap," he noted gently.

"No, I said it's fine, my love" She said shakily once more

Sage sort of gave her a playful pout. "You're not going to make me get up and come over there are you," he asked, keeping his arms out. "You need rest ...I need you healthy. You can't do everything on your own," he added softly.

"But you need to rest and and she needs me and then I have to clean the house, do the dishes, make dinner tonight, I should probably go grocery shopping today too..." She rambled, clearly overwhelmed
