Max showed up about a hour later, lugging a suitcase behind him, looking exhausted. Emery walked out and smiled at him, letting him in. "Hey! You're finally back! How was the trip?" She asked, Max just groaning in response before pushing past her and into his room.

He lazed a wave back, shutting his door in Emery's face as she asked him what was wrong. Max snapped back at her, Emery only growing worse by the seconds. She calmed down and apologized, Max just booming over her before giving her the boot. To which, in only her sense, she dumped his clothes she'd folded and was about to go give back into the dirty laundry, wrinkling them before going to the kitchen bar and logging onto her Macbook.
