Axel shrugged when he asked how he slept, sort of leaning his forearms on his knees. "Good," he noted. "Woke up early but I slept good while it paused," he added with a chuckle.

Duncan cocked his head. "While it paused?" he asked.

Axel wrinkled his nose slightly when Duncan seemed confused. "Sorry ...old joke from the guys in my barrack group," he noted. "The only break we got, only time life paused, was when we were asleep," he explained. "We just...started saying that I suppose," he thought out loud.

"Oh, huh," Duncan hummed with a nod. "Well, I'm glad you got some rest," he smiled.

Axel just grinned back at him with a nod. "You know, you're spoiling me a little bit," he teased him. "Big bed, fancy food delivered right too me, I'm going to get lazy sitting around here all day," he added with a soft laugh.

Axel hummed in thought before shrugging and hopping off the windowsill, wandering closer to Remy, watching him as he stretched. He was still fascinated by the wings.... everything about them was just neat. He'd never seen them up close before. "Well, it was a big switch up, going from there to here," he admitted. "But surprisingly I settled in just fine," he added with a grin.

Duncan smiled, looking up at him. "Yeah, I suppose thats right," he chuckeld lightly.

Axel just nodded along with a hum, plopping down on the bed next to him. "I'm already good for the day so the bathroom is open," he noted, leaning against the headboard.

| |
Duncan nodded. "I think I'm just gonna have breakfast delivered again," he murmured, getting up and wandering to the bathroom, leaving the door open as he brushed his teeth.
