"Stop with all the pessimism! I'd have been fine if there wasn't dinner at all. I'm glad we watched the movie, that was the most fun I've had in a long time, and I don't care that dinner was late." Ben was really getting worried about her now. Always seeing the negative side of things and not the positive? 'She definitely needed help,' He thought as he he grabbed the forks and put them in the utensil drawer.

She nodded, silent. She finished dishes and sighed. "Um, thanks for staying with me through the movie and inner. And thanks for the help"

Ben smiled kindly, realizing when she spoke that he could have scared her by his outbursts. "Of course. Sorry for kind of yelling at you. It's hard to see you so quiet." His apology was sincere, but it didn't sound right to him. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, not knowing what else to say.

"Yeah, it was fun. And I didn't really mind the outbursts." She said, slightly shrugging. She was too used to them.

Ben nodded, kind of shuffling his feet a little. It wasn't late enough to try to sleep and he didn't really want to ride Ghost or train Cash. He wanted to know what Emma was going to do but thought that would be a weird question to ask. "So..." was all he said.

"We can watch more movies until we fall asleep?"
|
| |
|
|

|
Ben grinned. "Maybe not until we fall asleep, but at least another one sounds great. I'll make some popcorn." He offered, finding the bags of theater popcorn in the pantry and microwaving them so they popped. He emptied the steaming snack into a bowl and brought it to the couch.

She smiled and went to the couch

Ben sat down and pulled the blanket over him, settling in. He grabbed a handful of popcorn as the first movie started. It was a cheesy horror movie, and Ben found himself hiding his face more then once (he wasn't a huge fan of horror movies) and cringing at the bad filming job.

Emma spaced out half the time, mind spiraling. She sighed after the first movie finished and it was only 10pm. She wouldn't be able to sleep, that was for sure
