Lorelei smiled lightly and nodded, "yeah, I'd like that," she murmured. "Yeah?"

"Will you be mine? Like be my girl and mine alone? Please? I promise I'll always protect you and take care of you and you'll never get hurt again."

"...like as a friend?" She asked. She wasn't sure if she could handle a relationship right now, especially after what just happened yesterday, and truthfully, she was just starting to trust him.

"Never mind, stupid question. Forget it." He said, shrugging with a smile still on his face. He was bleeding though, inside, and didn't dare show it on his face. "Y-yeah, as a friend."

"Oh, okay," she murmured. She sensed something was off though. "Kai, you know you can talk to me,"

"Yeah, I know. I was just thinking, that's all...." He said, his voice cracking a bit and his heart too

Lorelei heard his voice crack. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" She asked, now worried.

"No, you're the one who I should be asking that. You feeling any better?" He asked softly, brushing a lock of hair from her face. He was trying his best to keep his cool, he really was, but she seemed so sweet and kind and beautiful and he felt this wierd urge to protect her from anything taht looked at her sideways

"Kai, whats wrong?" she asked sternly.

"Nothing I just...never mind" He said, shaking his head. "I just really wanted you"
