Matt shrugged, staring just past Lori's direction, his eyes slightly unfocued. Once had dragged himself back to reality he looked down at her, fiddling with the keys in his pocket. "Well I assume we're both hungry no? Food?" He asked, his eye contact with Lori strong. "And we can think of something to do after that im sure. Can you drive?" He asked, beckoning for her to fllow as he made his way to the car. After they had both gotten in he started the car up, slowly rolling out of the car park, glancing at the entrance to the restaurant as if his parents were watching him.

I'm just gonna say you meant Elowyn for everytime you put Lori lol)) Wyn raised her eyebrows at the suggestion, grinning. "I guess so." She shrugged teasingly, looking right back at him as he held her gaze. She followed him as he started to move, nodding at the question. "Yeah. Why?" She asked lightly, sliding into the passenger seat happily before adjusting her dress for the thousandth time. She looked up as they started to move, staring directly ahead, slightly zoned out.

yeah my heads a mess lmao sorry - Once Matt had finally gotten out the ca roark and hit the road he relaxed a little, his finger trialing the bottom of the steering wheel as he as good as cruised in the traffic, slightly frustrated by the amount of people there was everywhere. He shrugged and looked over at Elowyn briefly, with a small smile. "Well you could drive? We could get food first then you take the car?" he suggested, a somewhat playful look in his eye. It was a risky thing for Matt to do, if his parents car was damaged he'd most definitely have to pay for it. But the risk was fun.

Dw lol)) Wyn focused back in on Matt as he became frustrated, smiling slightly at the emotion. It was nice to see him like that. Entertaining, really. She offered him a smile as he turned to her, giving a shrug. "Sounds fun. You like playing with Daddy's six figure car?" She asked playfully, stretching out slightly.

Matt hadn't exactly realised how much he had managed to calm down and sort of..show emotion that night, unlike he had done before then. He wasn't exactly warming to Elowyn but..Well he clearly was. He shrugged lightly as she spoke, biting back a small smile at her comment. "As a matter of fact yeah" He said, glancing at her with an amused look before looking safely back at the road, ignoring the angry driver as Matt cut him off. "I can't imagine your parents will be too happy to leave the restaurant and find out their daughter has been whisked away." he frowned, his words thoughtful. "What exsctly makes you so..okay with doing this sort of stuff? Upsetting your parents?"

"Mm. You seem like it." Wyn teased, gently removing her heels and letting them rest on the floor. She was torn between amusement and alight annoyance when he cut another driver off, shrugging it away as he spoke. "Oh, I doubt it. My mother will probably shake her fist at the sky and curse you or something like that." She said sarcastically, turning to look at him for the question and thinking for a moment. She blew out a breath, thinking, then answered. "No. I don't really want to upset them. I just wanna have fun, and I don't think they know how to do that. I wanna be happy. And doing stuff I'm not supposed to, it gives me something to feel other than boredom and numbness. Maybe not happiness, but then again, maybe I don't know what happy is to me. Maybe this is it." She shrugged. "What about you? You like upsetting your parents like this? Even if it's just for a while before they drop it." She asked curiously.

Matt's eyes were focused well on the road as it got significantly darker outside, flicking the headlights onto full beam though he was rarely a fan of blinding himself in reflections as well as other drivers. He was surpsingly careful with the car consdiering he had just stolen it. As Elowyn answered his question Matt listened carefully, the faint sound of the rumble from the car drowned out by her words. "So you're resorting to having fun by essentially committing crimes?" He asked, though his once amused smile was replaced with a slight frown. He wasnt wrong, whilst it was only his parents, taking their car without permission could still be counted as theft. And, if they wahted, his parents could turn him in. "I honestly dont think they care, not for the most part anyway. They're too busy with their jobs to really think about actually reprimanding me for anything." He shrugged, scraping his hair out his eyes. "Plus me and my dad dont exactly get on, at all. So I guess that makes me less bothered." Matt added, swinging the car round a little tightly into the car park of a food place, parking somehwat carelessley. "Is this place alright?" He asked with a weak smile, gesturing towards the building in front of them.

Wyn grinned at his response, despite the little frown on his lips. "I'm resorting to having fun by going along with you. If that happens to involve a little petty crime... yeah. Better than sitting at a table letting your mother yap at me and my own mother glare across my father at me." She shrugged, glancing out the window to observe her surroundings for a moment before she turned back to him, listening to his answer intently. She tilted her head ever so slightly as he spoke, almost feeling bad for him- but not quite. The corners of her lips twitched downward with a frown, and she simply watched him as they pulled in, debating what to say- if anything. Then, he spoke, and she snapped her gaze to the restaurant in front of them, blinking. "Yeah, this is fine." She nodded, quickly getting out of the car to hide her momentary disteaction.

"Mhm." Matt said with an amused smile, only glancing over at Elowyn momentarily. "I'm gonna take that as,, yes I enjoy spending time with you,, and nothing else." He added, switching the car off after he had straightened it up a little. At her conformation he got out, waiting for Elowyn to do the same before locking the car and making his way in, pulling his phone out after they had sat down. There was of course a message from his mother, but he didnt bother to read much of it, instead just swiped it away and looked up. "So," He started, placing his phone screen down on the table. "Do you still despise me as much as you first did?" He asked, cocking his head to the side. "Considering you made a move on me I somewhat dont think you do."Matt added, sitting back a little, his eye contact strong. Well, until he had finished talking, then of course he gazed off out the window as usual.

Wyn roleld her eyes, chuckling slightly at his response. "Whatever you wanna tell yourself." She mocked. She slipped out of the car lightly, walking at his side into the restaurant and settling across from him as he sat down. She tilted her head as he started speaking, narrowing her eyes ever so slightly, as if between amusement and slight contempt. "Maybe, maybe not. You're less of a dick now, so I guess I despise you a little less." She teased, raising an eyebrow slightly as he moved forward. She tilted her head at the eye contact, then watched him turn to peer out the window. "Just because I find you physically attractive doesn't mean I particularly like you." She joked, glancing off to observe the restaurant. She turned her gaze back to him after a moment, blurting out the words before she thought better. "That's all it'll be, though. I'll make out with you in closets and shit, but I'm not sleeping with you." She muttered, just refraining from making a face as the words came out of her mouth. She simply went back to observing the scenery intently.
