"Ehh I'm used to it. That place is living hell anyway. Earth is so much better" she smiled then stood, making Rascal wake up.

"I bet." Cade agreed. He yawned and reached into his tote bag, pulling out a bag of cheese puffs. He opened the bag and ate a couple, tossing one to Rascal. "Wanna try one?" He asked Saphire.

She gave a quick shrug. "Sure" she hesitated before taking one from the bag. She put it in her mouth then furrowed her eyebrows "I've never had something like this before. It's weird" she chewed and swallowed, going for another. She paused, her hand right over the bag. "Can I have another one?"

Cade nodded. "Go ahead, if we run out I can steal more." He smiled at her.

She quickly took out a few more then popped them in her mouth. She threw one up in the air then caught it in her mouth. She threw another one and missed, making her laugh. "I want to throw one to you and you catch it in your mouth " she grinned

Cade lightly blushed and grinned back. "Okay!" He sat a bit away from her and opened his mouth. She threw a couple, the last one landing in his mouth. He ate it and grinned at her.

"Yay we did it!" She smiled then tossed one in the air, catching it with ease. She laid down and stared up at the ceiling of the cave.

Cade lay down next to her, setting the bag inbetween them. He turned his head and looked out at the pouring rain.

Saphire sighed a little. "You seem a little too relaxed around a demon. Why?" She asked, genuinely confused. She sat up in her elbows and looked down at him.

Cade stared into the rain, thinking. "I honestly don't know. I mean it's not like I have anything to lose I guess." He thought for a moment. "Yea."
