Christine yawned and started walking towards a room to get some rest when she heard a yelp. Fearing that Keefe had hurt himself, she raced over to find an interesting sight. "Uhhh... you didn't tell me you had a dog" she kneeled down and slowly called to the dog and it strolled over to her weary. She gently scartched the dog's ears and was rewarded with a small lick. "It's a cute little thing". She removed her now very dirty hand and studied the dog. It looked to be no more than a few years old but seemed to have takin its home on the streets.

Keefe leaned against the wall, recovering from his tiny startle. "I don't." He answered as Christine approached, his soft blue eyes observing the canine. "Yes, but it'll look much cuter after a bath." He seemed like he had already decided, as he pushed himself fully upright reaching out his hand to the dog. It sniffed his palm, then wagged its tail weakly. "It's been with humans before. I can tell. It's not scared it all." He commented quietly, disappearing for a second before coming back with a leash. Honestly, he didn't know why they still had one. He paused before gently slipping it over the animal's head, and it did not protest. He then headed towards a back door, the dog following slowly, both of them limping a little. Keefe went right outside, where there was a hose attached to the mansion. He turned it on, waited till it warmed up slightly- yes, they had heated hoses- and kneeled down with a wince, gently spraying the dog while massaging the matted hair and mud out, his touch gentle.

Christine laughed at the dog and walked back to where she was seated before -Makes sense for all that noise, that poor dog must've been sleeping in here- she hummed and sat back down letting the afternoon sun pour onto her back. - Uhhh this is the life- she said to herself slowling closing her eyes hearing Keefe and the dog splutter around - ah well i'll clean that later- she slowly dozed.

Keefe smiled faintly as he rubbed the mud off the dog with his hands and with the hose. Soon he was absolutely soaked, his leg was sure it was dying, and the dog was clean as ever. Now that it wasn't a dirty lump, he could see a bright golden coat, trademark of a Golden Retriever. Purebred or not, this dog was beautiful. It woofed and wagged its tail, obviously happy, licking Keefe's face. "Eugh- don't do that." He snorted lightly, standing up with a grimace of pain and rolling the hose back up. He hooked the Dog's leash to something, disappeared inside for a second to grab a towel, and came back out to rub the dog. It totally thought it was getting pet, so it wouldn't stay still and instead wiggled around happily the whole time. "You're making this much more difficult." He mumbled, though he looked amused. Finally the dog was only damp, with fur sticking up in every direction, and Keefe was the one who looked like he needed a shower- covered in dog hair and completely soaked. He made a point of taking his shoes off before he walked inside with the animal, heading back towards the main room. "Christine?" He asked, glancing around before spotting her on a couch. "Could you hold this monster while I go find food?" He inquired with a faint smile, favoring his left leg a little more now, as it was throbbing with pain.

Christine woke up and quickly sprang towards Keefe rubbing her eyes. - gotta look like I just havent slept for half an hour- she walked over and held the squimy creature in her hands, the beautiful small of the now clean dog fell into her nose.

She looked around with a sudden thought, "Keefe! I have a great idea!" she exclaimed almost letting go of the tiny creature, "Why don't we hold a "olden day" ball here! Its perfect. You'll get interest of the place and it will bring memories back from the olden days".

Keefe glanced at Christine, as she looked like she had just come back from a much needed sleep break. He was about to comment on something when her eyes widened and she started exclaiming something. His eyebrows arched slightly at her proposal. "A... ball? Is there any possible way people would be interested in a ball?" He asked a bit doubtfully, but of course, Christine would know more about it than him. Plus, of course, this house was old, so.... he took a couple steps forward to a door that hadn't been opened in a while, and opened it. A giant ballroom stretched across the floor with a diamond chandelier and ornate designs. "This house was built quite a while ago." He commented as he stared at the space, which wasn't even dusty since no one had ever gone in there and dust was made mostly from skin.

Christine gasped and slowly walked towards the middle of the ballroom, "Wowwww..... this is amazing" she ran her hands along the beautiful curtains. "With a bit of work, the right people, and time, this place is gonna look amazing". she paused recollected her thoughts and continued, "People need to learn the importance of history. We'll call it the Medieval Day, we could do archery, bake strange pies...." the list went on and on.. finally after some time she stopped and looked towards Keefe, "Hehe i've probably bored you out of your brain...... or traumatized" she added under her breathe.

Keefe watched her with a small smile. She really did like planning things, he could tell. The whole place did look like it should be in a castle a couple hundred years ago. Granted, this mansion was over 150 years old. As she started explaining, he watched her with interest, a little surprised at how much she thought of and knew. "Bored? No- not at all. It's all really interesting, and I'm amazed at how much you know. Does it just flow into your brain, or do you actually have to think about it?" He grinned a little, looking around again. The high ceiling, wide space, and beautiful design would be perfect for what she was explaining. It really would get people interested in this place, so if they wanted to sell it, it should be easy.

Christine laughed, "I love learning about history, always been a hobby I guess". She ran her hand on another curtain to be greeted with the same response...dust. "This is gonna be our main focus first" she opened the small doors and let in a beautiful breeze that filtered through her hair. She paused and took in everything. She had never felt so safe in her life before, was it Keefe? Was it a beautiful home with locks on the door? She had no idea but whatever it was it made her safe and happy something she never had experienced before. She looked towards Keefe and smiled, life was so much more simple now... time to enjoy life as it comes. She moved over to Keefe, "don't worry I'll look after all the planning, you need a break"

"It's a good hobby to have. Very entertaining." Keefe smiled, writing a mental note to read up on his history. Maybe he'd actually learn something. He glanced at her, and for a second, became rather fixated. The way the breeze blew through her wavy hair- it was... he glanced away, mentally smacking himself. What was he doing. It didn't work that way. "No, I'll be fine for a little bit. The leg barely hurts yet." He joked with a wan smile. "Anything I can do? This place doe need to be cleaned- I can try dusting a little bit, but I don't REALLY want to stand here for hours." He joked lightly, looking around at the big room. "I can probably vacuum, though." He said thoughtfully. "What else will need to be done?"
