He sighed and shook his head. "I just...Roxie said she was hunting us down. It's been a week and there's been no sign of her. I don't like it." He bit his thumb nail again and recoiled with a hiss and snarl when he bit too deep and it started bleeding. He wiped the blood off on his pants and started his tense pacing again, now chewing on his pointer finger nail. |

Maxine huffed when she saw him start bleeding and went and grabbed a bandage for him putting some antibiotic ointment on it before bandaging it "Then lets get going again... maybe to a hotel... I need a better night of sleep and you might feel better in a more public space..." she said gently. |

He sighed and nodded. "Yeah." He grabbed the bags of stuff they had bought back when they first moved out. "I'll get changed into whatever outfit style I decided to go with and we can head out." |

"Okay" she said gently "I'll go leave Daisy some food." she told him gently grabbing some food from the bag and taking some food and water upstairs for her. When she came back down she smiled when she saw him "I like it... Looks sexy on you." she cooed happily kissing him happily handing him the keys to her bike "You drive today."she said gently. |

He chuckled and took the keys. "You haven't even seen the eyeliner yet," he laughed. he currently had on sunglasses because why not, it went with the leather jacket and skull tank top. And those all went with the black ripped jeans and the chain. He had also gotten a dangly cross earring to put on his left ear only because it would annoy Death like crazy. He hopped on the bike and waited for Maxine to get on before speeding off. "Ok, what hotel do you want to stay at," he yelled back at her. |

"Eyeliner too huh?" she asked "Better let me handle that..." she chuckled "I am an claw scratchesist afterall..." she smirked looking at her phone and showing him the map and the name of the hotel "There's even a little chain of stores across the street in case we need anything." she nodded. |

He glanced back at the phone and nodded. "Sounds like a plan" He turned the corner sharply and wound down through some alleyways and then through a part of the forest grinning ear to ear as the motorcycle bounced around. They got to the hotel in about ten minutes since he used a shortcut. He parked and held the bike steady so Maxine could get off and then hopped off himself. "I guess we just go check in now." He smirked and stuck his face close to hers. "Then you can try your hand at the eyeliner," he said smoothly before slipping past her, grabbing their bags, and striding toward the building. |

Max smiled and gave a nod kissing his cheek before they put their helmets on. As they drove she held onto him tightly half asleep as they drove along. When they got to the hotel she gave a chuckle and nodded "Okay." she said happily. After getting checked in she sat him on the bed and began slowly but surely working on his eyeliner when she finished she smirked playfully "Hightlights your eyes." she said letting him go take a look. |

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Might have to become a thing I do every day, then," he laughed. He walked back over to the bed and fell backward on top of it, putting his hands behind his head and crossing one leg over the other. He still had his boots on, but they weren't dirty so it shouldn't matter. He wouldn't put them where they would be sleeping anyway. |

Max gave a small giggle "Only if you want to." she smiled giving a gentle sigh collapsing on the bed beside him with a sleepy sigh "As much as I wanna sleep... I'm really hungry..." she admitted. She'd noticed her hunger had grown a bit but she didn't think much of it. "Can we see if the market across the street has anything hot and ready to go?" she asked. |
