"I'm in a risky mood." Trixie teased, sliding off her stool when she noticed him straighten up. "Thank you." She purred teasingly, finishing her drink quickly and shaking off the taste before she grabbed his hand. She tugged him toward the dancefloor eagerly, smiling.

"I can tell, i'm definitely not complaining though" he smiled, letting Trixie lead him somewhat eagerly to the dance floor. He still felt awkward and just in general in a bad mood about it, but at least it was with her, and not anyone else. And, at least he wasnt by himsef. He glanced around the room, watching someone dressed as a chicken wander past, his gaze scanning the costume.

Trixie brought him to a corner of the dancefloor, pulling him closer and settling his hands on her waist. "I'm gonna be honest, I don't actually know how to dance. I just wanted an excuse to stand like this." She said lightly, clasping her hands behind his neck and settling her head over his heart. She didn't seem to care that this style didn't match the song playing whatsoever.

"If you had just said that in the first place I dont think I would have complained half as much as I did" Matt smiled, happily settling his hands on her waist as she put them there, sliding them a little further up. He gave a light smile as she rested her head on his chest, looking down and pressing a light but quite meaningful kiss on the top of her head.

"I wanted you to do it anyway." Trixie teased, pressing up against him gently- in a slightly hesitant manner. She let out a soft sigh at the light kiss, pressing closer to him and closing her eyes. "I love you." She mumbled into his chest, almost inaudibly.

Matt, for a quick couple of seconds, stopped moving at the barely audible three word phrase that came out of Trixie's mouth. He gently pushed her away, putting a hand under her chin to get her to look at him. He knew what she said, but still wanted to hear it again. Even if she didnt mean it the way he was taking it. "Say that again" he said softly, looking her in the eye intensely.

Trixie looked up at him in concern when he stopped moving, blinking in surprise when he pushed her away. She was quite frightened that she had scared him off until he spoke, and she swallowed hesitantly, taking in a slight breath. She held his gaze quietly, thinking for a few moments. "I love you." She said tentatively, her hands sliding down to rest gently on his chest.

Matt swallowed hard as she repeated the prhase, unsure of whether he should say it back or nt. It was much more serious than others tended to make out, or at least to him. In the end, after another 30 or so seconds of silence, he spoke up. "I love you too" he smiled, taking one of the hands that were resting on his chest so he could at least just..hold her. "I mean it" he whispered after, unsure of she would be able to hear down to the music being as loud as it was.

Trixie was sure her heart would jump out of her chest in the silence that followed her words, watching him and biting her lip anxiously until he spoke. She offered him a slightly relieved smile when he returned it, squeezing his hand gently when he took hers. "I know you do." She nodded lightly, moving closer to him again and resting her forehead against his. After, she simply closed her eyes, curling her other arm around him tightly.

The next couple of minutes were incredibly peaceful for them both, just stood there. Matt hadnt felt so relaxed since they even arrived, and he loved it. Soon enough he pulled back, watching another couple of..chickens wander past, before turning his attention back to Trixie. "Do you wanna go for a walk? Anything thats a little fresher than in here" he asked, lightly smiling as he moved himself off the dance floor and out the way of some drunk people making their way through.
