Sage turned to face the two of them and smiled brightly with a little wave. It hurt a bit, but he could deal with it he supposed. He kicked a pile of papers into the pile in the corner and then chuckled when he saw Luther piled high with food and went over to pick up the bowl off the top of the pile so the guy could see and gave him his usual cocky grin. "You've become quite the willing packhorse," he teased the boy lightly, walking away after a second to put the bowl down. "We have enough room to sit on the floor. Grab a blanket if you want it," he added, jerking his finger to the pile of stuff. There were a few blankets in there somewhere...he didn't usually use them.

Luther wrinkled his nose at the boy before carefully placing the bowles and plates down on the floor. "Willing is the wrong word... try forced and you might be half way there," he groaned before flopping down, sending a playful glare at Anya while she wasn't looking. The girl had gone off to find a blanket in Sages pile of... well, everything. She wasn't the neatest person herself, but she'd have to help him be a bit more... organised. She couldn't really understand how someone with such little could find a way to make such a mess with it all. She eventually found something before turning back to the boy. "Please, I didn't force you out... you followed me like a little puppy as soon as you heared there'd be food. The twist was that you had to carry it," she giggled before laying the blanket out for them to sit on before grabbing a few of the game boxes. They were all very classical games... though there were one or two which the royals had made up themselves, pretty much their own version of twister and alike. Though, she just picked up a game a bit like monopoly... it'd be fun to get them all rield up, and it would last a while anyway.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Anya can be a bit bossy," he admitted, though all in fun. He jerked his finger back to where Anya was sorting through the pile in the corner to try and find a blanket. "I'll bet that right now she's figuring out ways to make me be neater," he told Luther with a wink, knowing the girl was thinking something along those lines. Of course, he didn't mind Anyas slight bossy attitude, and he knew Luther didn't really ming either. Besides, food was good...he'd carry food around too if it meant he could have fun and eat it. The game Anya picked out was one he knew how to play....hed played for money quite a few times so he was pretty decent at it. Though, this was for fun so he could stand to lose too. He was still tired, and more than a bit sore, but that wouldn't change and he was happy to have his friends here to screw around with. They'd have fun tonight.

The girl wrinkled her nose slightly before sticking her tongue out at him. "I'm not that bossy... am I," she questioned quietly before rolling her eyes. She could be demanding... and maybe a little bit manipulating to get what she wanted, but she didn't think she was that bossy. She frowned a little at that thought. Though, her little frown disappeared with his next comment, mainly because they both knew it to be true. "But yeah... I think you could do with a little help being tidier. You have a bunch of empty drawers and all your things are on the floor," she hummed thoughtfully before emptying the box on the floor to set things up. Anya wasn't a neat freak... actually, she was far from it, but she didn't want him to be living in a mess while he did plus, it would he nice to walk across the room without standing on things.

Sage chuckled and gave Luther a pointed look when she started talking about how he could stand to be a bit neater, a crooked grin still spread across his face. He went over to sit down by Anya to help her set up the game, and waved Luther over to sit down too. The food was scattered in containers and bowls around them....they definitely wouldn't be hungry. Though, he wasn't sure he'd eat all that much. He didn't want to end up hurting and throw something up...it had happened before when he moved in his sleep and opened cuts up, waking up hurting. With bandages, he doubted that would happen, but it never hurt to be careful. He wasn't all that hungry anyway...it hurt constantly so his stomach wasn't all that happy with him.

The girl frowned at Sages slightly staggered movements. The thing with a belt is that it doesn't just cut, it slaps...so the area around the wound would be starting to swell and bruise soon, which meant he would just get achier. She grabbed a few pillows for them to sit on, along with a few to lean against the bed frame with for Sage, so that he wasn't just constantly trying to keep himself up. Anya kind of claimed a little bowl of food for herself before sitting back when she was happy with how everything was set up. They started playing for a while, and it took a moment for things to get heated, but soon enough they were shouting and giggling in a mockery of competition.

Sage enjoyed their little game night, though he became exhausted again far too quickly for his own tastes. Then again, it was almost midnight by the time they decided to stop playing, so they were all pretty wiped. Eventually, they all piled the boxes of games up into a (slightly neat) pile at the edge of the room as a quick clean up and then got ready to sleep. Luther left pretty quickly, and Anya did a pretty decent job of acting like she'd leave too, though Sage knew she'd stay, like she promised. He was glad for it...he found himself more nervous about what nightmares might pop up and how he'd react while she was here. He didn't want to burden her with the nightmares, let alone the flashbacks that might pop up as well...but having her here was a comfort. He had to admit that.

Anya waved Luther goodbye before picking up dishes and plates and stacking them up in her arms. She swiftly mentioned running back to the kitchen and for Sage to get ready for bed while she was out... he'd trust her enough to come back. She made a quick run down to the kitchens and dumped the plates down before wandering back up. She had to admit, she was a little bit worried about Sage... not just because he'd wanted her to stay about, that was normal enough, but he had shown little to no emotion after what'd happened. He just went straight back into cracking jokes and chatting... that couldn't be normal, not at all. No tears, no cries for help, nothing. It was a little odd to her, but she just assumed it was some kind of coping mechanism he'd developed out in the slums... so that he wouldn't have to deal with his emotions. She made it back in good time, swiftly changing into something more comfortable she'd picked up on the way back before hopping into bed with him, still a little reluctant to hold him or anything, just encase she would hurt him... if he wanted to cuddle in he would, though she doubted it like this.

Sage just kind of flopped into bed once the other two left, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. He'd enjoyed the evening, but he was exhausted. Anya came back, though, and he gave her a tired smile when she did. He could tell she was reluctant to cuddle in, though, so he shifted around so his back was pressed lightly against her and pulled her arm over him where it rested on an area on his stomach the belt hadn't quite reached. The bandages allowed for some leeway on his back, and Anya wasn't an incredibaly hard surface, so he was alright...it didn't hurt any more than usual.

Anya was a little surprised when he had her wrap her arm around him, but she got comfortable anyway, kind of curling around him and tucked her nose into his neck. She'd quickly figured that she would do anything if it kept him settled, so she was more than happy to cuddle up. She was a little surprised that he'd managed to make it to midnight, just messing around... she was pretty tired herself, so the fact that he hadn't passed out at some point was amazing, especially after the day he'd had. She gave a quiet sigh as she relaxed into him... the next few days would probably be pretty tough. They'd not only have her mother on their backs but now the chances of the rebellion being at their worse were pretty high, so she'd take any chance to relax that she could. "I love you," she whispered, though it was a little muffled by her tiredness. "You were so brave today... you do know you don't always have to be brave, though? I'm always here if you need me," she murmured, closing her eyes as she pulled the duvet up a bit.
