Jacob watches her then feeds the horses and water them then stops at wildfire stall

Wildfire nickered and tossed his mane. He stompped his hooves and watched Jacob. Wildfire bent over and ate his food happily.Dakota went to her room and sat on the bed. Tears fell down her face.

Jacob pets him and said " I like you boy but sometimes people have to lose there past"

Wildfire tilted his head to the side and looked at Jacob. The kids all went to bed and Dakota sat looking out the window. She climbed out and ran to the beach in the dark. The moon reflected onto the water making it shimmer. Dakota's green eyes glowed.

Jacob pets him and walks inside the house and looks around then goes back to the barn saddled wildfire and gallops towards the beach

Dakota sat in the sand and watched the dark water. Her hair blew with the light breeze.

Jacob slows wildfire down and got off then walks towards Dakota and said "I am sorry"

"No, It's not your fault. You wanted alone time and I get that." Dakota said sadly. "I was just trying to help."

Jacob looks down and said " I know and I pushed it away I shouldn't have done that "

"No, no it's okay." Dakota met his eyes and managed a slight smile.
