"Nothing really. A misunderstanding at worst"
| |
| |

He nodded, writing that down as well as he glanced back at Caden, grabbing his radio and muttering something into it.

Emily moved to walk to Caden
| |
| |

Caden slipped an arm around her waist, pulling her close before lowering his voice so only she could hear. "I think he thinks I did it, he's kept tossing numerous looks at me while asking stuff, as though I did it."

| |

She rested her head on him, closing her eyes with a soft look on her face
| |
| |

Caden settled his arm around her shoulders, having a glaring match with the paramedic before they eventually made it to the hospital, the two getting out and getting escorted.

| |

Two nurses came and took them to seperate rooms, Caden giving Emily's hand a gentle squeeze before he was whisked away.
| |
| |

She looked toward him worriedly, feelingslightly abandoned
| |
| |

First thing that happened was they assesed everything, figuring why his voice was so raspy and learning it was from the brusing around his neck, looking like hand prints yet he didn't say anything. Second they set his nose back to place, noting it'd probably heal crooked yet he didn't mind.
