Sages face softened and he shook his head. "How does that make you a bad mother," he asked. "Besides, I can help with Liz now that we know I'm not contagious, and I'm healing," he pointed out.

Sage nodded. "I know, but I can feed her and stuff," he pointed out.

"No, I don't want to tire you..."

Sage chuckled softly. "Really, I'm ok," he promised. "It's not tiring to sit here and hold a bottle. Besides, I miss her," he added softly, thumb moving across the baby's cheek lightly, so as not to wake her.
