"Okay, you're right. I wouldn't know." Ryker said sheepishly, then stood and followed her. "Hey, this isn't a horror movie." He joked gently when she peered around the corner of the house. "Don't worry. Even if there is anything I'll keep you, and the baby that isn't really a full baby yet, safe."
| |
"It may not be a full baby yet but still. It's still ours and I would still cry if I lost it." She she skipped over to the back door and peeked through. "I don't see Jessica. I wonder if they are still sleeping" she looked over at Ryker "I feel so on edge. I don't know if it's just because there are people in the house"

Ryker closed his eyes for a second. "We are not going to lose it. Shush. Everything will go perfectly." He answered stoutly, almost as if reassuring himself, then followed her quietly. "She's probably exhausted, give her some time. And of course you feel on edge. It's fine. Just don't let it take you over." Ryker answered, putting an arm around her shoulders. "Because EEEVERYTHING will work out "

Abby leaned against him a little. "We should get a puppy" she grinned up at Ryker. "I want a puppy"
| |
Ryker slowly looked at her. He opened his mouth to speak before closing it again. "A puppy and a child. It'll just be going into adolescent years when the baby is born. That's a lot of responsability." He answered slowly. "If you are actually serious." He eyed her with a snort

"I've always wanted a puppy! My parents never got me one. I feel every child needs one. And the baby and the dog would have the best relationship since they would grow up together!" She tugged on Rykers sleeve like a child. "Please?"
| |
Ryker lifted his eyebrows slightly. "Don't beg to me. I'm not your parent." He snorted. "You decide. I'd be fine with a puppy, you just can't get some random breed. Lab or golden would be good." He smiled slightly.
| |
"A Golden Retriever! " she jumped around with a bright smile on her face. "When can we go find one?" Her brain immediately strolled through every town she could think of, trying to think of a shelter or something that would have a Retriever
| |
"Yeah. My favorite dog breed." He answered with a slight grin. "Slow down. We should probably find a good one, first, and spend time researching and looking around. Your job. Have fun." Ryker chuckeld
| |
"I can't slow down!" She smiled. "Fine. I'll try" she rolled her eyes, but she could imagine herself bringing home a puppy, watching it grow up with their baby. "Now what should we do?" She grinned at Ryker.
