Sage chuckled and then nodded reaching for their daughter happily. "Yeah," he noted softly, moving to cradle the little girl to his chest, though away from his stitches.

Amira nodded, still watching him cautiously before kissing his cheek. Liz fell asleep and Amira got up to put her in her crib in her room. She walked back to Sage, a small and soft smile on her face as she settled beside him. "Eat, my love" She said softly

Sage just settled down against the headboard of the bed, leaning against Amira when she came in. "I will," he hummed. "I want to hold her for a while first."

Amira nodded, chewing her nail- something she never did -and watched him cautiously

Sage just peered down at the little girl, who had immediately curled up against his chest, and then held an arm out for Amira to join in. It had been a while since he'd had his whole family there with him like this.
