Finn nodded. "Together," he promised her. "They will. They'll know love like they know food and water because they'll have the best mother,"

Sera let out a shaky laugh, brushing her fingers along his jaw as tears welled in her eyes again—happy ones this time. “You always know exactly what to say to make my heart melt,” she whispered, voice thick with emotion. She looked down at where his hand rested gently on her belly and placed hers over his. “They’ll know love because they’ll have you too, Finn,” she said softly. “They’ll have your strength, your heart, your warmth. And maybe your stubbornness,” she teased lightly, a small smile tugging at her lips. Her thumb brushed over his knuckles as she whispered, “I still can’t believe this is real… you, me, and our baby. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted.”

Finn smiled and nodded, leaning in to softly kiss her lips. "I cant wait..."

Sera kissed him back gently, her heart fluttering at how soft and sincere he was. She rested her forehead against his, closing her eyes for a moment as if trying to etch this exact feeling into memory. “I can’t either,” she whispered. “Every little kick, every flutter… watching them grow… then one day holding them in our arms.” She let out a breathy laugh, eyes still closed. “I can’t believe we’re going to be parents.”

Finn smiled and nodded. "Me neither. But I'm glad we are going to be,"

Sera smiled, her eyes shimmering with quiet joy. She leaned her head against his shoulder, her hand still resting over his where it lay on her belly. “Me too,” she whispered. “I’m so glad it’s with you. I wouldn’t want this—any of this—with anyone else.” She was quiet for a moment, listening to his heartbeat, feeling the gentle rise and fall of his chest. “You’ve already made me feel so safe… so loved. I know our baby’s going to feel that too. Every single day.” Her fingers tightened slightly around his. “We’re really doing this. A family. You, me, and them.”

Finn nodded. "A real family," he hummed.

Sera's smile deepened, soft and full of emotion as she looked up at him. Her heart ached in the best way possible — full and overflowing. "A real family," she echoed, her voice barely above a whisper. She reached up and gently touched his cheek, brushing her thumb across his skin. “We’ve been through so much... and somehow, we still ended up here. Together. Stronger.” Her gaze dropped to their intertwined hands resting on her stomach. “This baby… they’re already so loved. And they’re going to grow up with so much warmth, so much laughter… so much us.” She looked back up at him, her eyes shining. “You’re going to be such a good dad, Finn. I just know it.”

"You're gonna be such a good mom," he hummed softly. "We should get some food in you, mama. Don't want you to get hungry, you're eating for two,"

Sera flushed, warmth spreading from her cheeks down to her chest at the word mama. It sounded so sweet coming from him, so real. She let out a soft laugh, brushing a hand through her hair. “Mama,” she echoed with a smile, as if trying it on. “That’s still so wild to hear.” Her hand found his again and she gave it a loving squeeze. “You’re really already looking out for us, huh?” she teased gently, though there was no mistaking the affection in her voice. “Alright, papa,” she added with a playful smirk, “what’re you feeding your family today?” Even now, after everything, he still had a way of making her feel safe — wrapped up in love and hope.
