Amira slept, waking in the middle of the night and cryong out Sage's name. He'd died in her dream and that scared her more than anything. She slowed her breathing and stroked Sage's face, seeing his chest rise and fall in her peripheral vision

Sage had woken when she jerked awake, and turned his head to look at her, moving to hold her hand. "I'm ok," he noted softly, figuring he knew what her bad dream was about

"You're okay..." She muttered to herself, kissing him gently and falling back asleep a while later. Liz began crying a couple hours later, making Amira get up. She launched up, hurrying to her daughter. "Shh, let daddy sleep" She cooed quietly to the infant, scooping her up and going to the kitchen

Sage stirred when she came in, nose twitching slightly as he smelled food. "That smells good," he noted with a yawn, sitting up to peer at what she'd brought him

"a couple pancakes, eggs, and bacon for my handsome man" She said softly, her eyes grazing over him. She watched him carefully in case he made any injured movements or sounds

Sage chuckled in response to her comment. "Call me handsome when I can walk around by myself," he noted with amusement. "Or better yet, when I can get you in bed again," he added mischeviously

"Not around Liz" She scolded teasingly, turning to have their daughter face away from her father until she reached out toward him. "She wants you. Are you able....?"
