Finn nodded with teary eyes. "Youre gonna be such a good mother,"

Sera let out a soft, shaky breath, smiling through the tears welling in her eyes. She leaned forward and pressed her forehead to his, her hand tightening around his over her belly. “You really think so?” she whispered, her voice fragile with emotion. “Because sometimes I’m scared I won’t be enough. That I won’t know what to do or how to keep them safe or…” She trailed off, eyes fluttering closed. She pulled back just slightly to look him in the eyes. “But then I remember I’m not doing this alone. I’ve got you. And you make me braver, Finn. You make me believe I can do anything.” Her lips quirked into a teary smile. “So if I end up being a good mom... it'll be because I had you beside me.”

Finn shook his head. "You're going to be a perfect mom. You'll be everything our child needs and it'll be because you are you, and you are perfect,"

Sera’s throat tightened, and her heart swelled so much it almost hurt. Her lip trembled as she looked at him, her husband, the love of her life, and now the father of her child. She reached up, gently cupping his face with both hands, her thumbs brushing against his cheeks. “How did I get so lucky?” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “You always know what to say... always know how to make me feel like I’m enough.” Tears slipped down her cheeks, but her smile never wavered. “I don’t know what kind of mom I’ll be yet… but I do know one thing. This baby is already so, so loved.” She leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his lips, soft and full of promise. “And they’ve got the most wonderful dad in the whole world.”

Finn smiled and nodded. "So, loved," he whispered, leaning in and kissing her.

Sera kissed him back, slow and lingering, her hand resting gently over his heart. When they pulled away, she let her forehead rest against his. “I should probably schedule our first appointment,” she murmured, her fingers idly tracing circles over his chest. “Make sure everything’s okay, get a due date… all the real stuff.” There was a flutter in her stomach—not just from the thought of the baby, but from how real everything suddenly felt. She looked up at him again, eyes full of soft determination. “I want you there with me, for everything. Every appointment, every kick, every time I can’t figure out what I’m doing. I want to do this all together. Just… us.”

Finn nodded. "Together," he promised. "We'll do this all together,"

Sera smiled, the kind of smile that reached her eyes and settled in her chest like warmth. She squeezed his hand, grounding herself in his promise. "Good," she whispered. "Because I don’t want to do this without you." Her voice trembled slightly, but not with fear—just emotion. This wasn’t something she’d ever imagined she’d have, not really. A family. A partner who looked at her like she was everything. Her thumb brushed gently over the back of his hand. "I think… our baby's really lucky," she said quietly, eyes locking with his. "They get you as their dad."

Finn smiled softly. "Our baby's lucky to have you as their mom,"

Sera’s chest tightened with emotion, and she blinked quickly as her eyes welled with tears. She leaned forward and pressed her forehead to his, her hand still resting gently over his heart. “I hope so,” she whispered. “I just want to do everything right. I want them to feel safe… loved… like they never have to doubt that we’re here.” She let out a soft breath, closing her eyes for a moment to soak in the closeness between them. Then she smiled again, more sure this time. “But I know we’ll figure it out. Together. Like we always do.”
