Trixie took in a small breath when his voice came over the phone, surprised by the fact that he had answered to begin with. "Hi, Matt." She said tentatively, glaring ahead of her quietly. "I- I know we aren't on good terms right now, and we don't have to be. But I need a favor. I'll owe you, I'll do whatever you want, as long as you agree. Are... are you interested at all?" She spat it out before she could lose the nerve, continuing to pace.

Matt's head shot up as he heard who it was, the voice of the very person he had done his absolute best to forget about. It obviously hadnt worked, but at least he tried. As he listened to her proposition he swallowed hard his heart racing. Part of him wanted to say no, hang up and completely forget the call happened, but part of him wanted to say yes immediately, hang up and rush to to her regardless of what it was. He let a couple seconds of silence pass, doing his best to build up the courage to even speak. "What is it?" he asked simply, leaning against the wall post that held the gate up. As badly as Matt wanted to forget about everything that happened between him and Trixie, it was proving difficult. Aside from killing her of course, it would be somewhat easy, but for her? Definitely more difficult, especially to just forget she caught him flirting, heard him say she made him sick and probably heard him and Sienna the night of the argument.

Trixie had to pause and brace herself against a table when he spoke, staring at her feet. She hated him. Or, she was supposed to. And yet, she just couldn't bring herself to it. He had wronged her in so many ways, it made it hard to think about him. And here she was, ready to beg him for a favor. She shook her head and blew out a slight breath so she could speak. "I need you to be my date for like, an hour. Or two. Or a few. I dunno, however long this festival lasts." She said quietly, continuing to watch the floor as though it were the most interesting thing she could find.

As Matt listened to Trixie's words, he only felt more and more ill with each sentence. He had no idea whether to accept or not. To him, he felt a slight dislike for just one reason: she in no way would listen no matter how hard he tried. Other than that, he had clearly done worse, even if she was spotted with some- in his opinion- stupid looking male model on the beach. He took a deep breath and got round to answering, his tone flatline. "Yeah I can do that. Not for long, see I had plans to get drunk and waste everything away" he said, his voice a little venemous. Matt had no idea why he did things like that to himself, but the jealousy tended to just take over. "If you realy need someone, i'll come. Where are you?" He asked, giving a short sigh.

Trixie closed her eyes at the venomous tone of voice, giving a sigh. "Sorry to inconvenience you. I thought that you might be alright with doing me a favor after all that we've been through, but I guess I'll mark it as another thing to thank you for." She returned quietly. She didn't have the energy to inject a negative tone into her voice- at that point, she was ready to fake being sick to go home. She was starting to find herself foolish for being excited over the event- obviously, life liked taking fun things like that from her. "I do. Just come to the fountain, I'll meet you there." She said quietly. "Thank you. I guess I owe you, now." She finished, hanging up and sinking into a crouched position. She set her head gently on her knees, taking a deep breath. After, she straightened up and made her way out of the tent. It wasn't long to the fountain, despite the slight hustle and bustle around her.

"Mm, after everything we've been through including you never wanting to see my face again. Right." Matt mumbled, gripping the stone wall he was leaning on rather hard, causing a small piece of skin to be cut slightly open. He bit the inside of his lip as he saw the specks of blood on his palm, wiping it on his trousers as he listened to Trixie speak again. "Dont owe me anything. I'll see you there" he said bluntly, watching her hang up. He stuffed his phone back in his pocket and made sure the drivway gate was locked before making his way down to the fountain. The whole way there he felt nauseous, anxious and angry though as soon as he spotted Trixie for some odd reason that all wilted away. Maybe some slight frustration, but the point still stands. He slowly made his way up to her, putting a very very weak smile on his face. "Hey." he said softly, his smile unable to stay there for too long. The muscles around his mouth felt heavy, as if smiling would bring his whole body down- so instead he decided simply, to not.

Trixie sat on the edge of the fountain, her hands clasped in her lap and her legs crossed. Her eyes were directed straight to her hands, and she waited quietly for him to show up. She looked utterly- dejected. Unhappy, mixed with hopeless. She blinked when she heard his voice, raising her head to look at him. She seemed wary, but the corners of her mouth twitched, as if she were thinking of smiling. "Hello." She said quietly, looking him over. "You look nice." She said, her tone passive.

"Thanks. You too." Matt said bluntly, leaning against the fountain. He looked up with his eyes closed for a couple of seconds, hoping that would overrule the slightly sweaty, warm, and not at all new sick feeling that was arising. It did a little, but in reality he was convinced it looked weird and so he stopped. He took a deep breath, his hand shaking slightly as he turned to face Trixie. "So what exactly am I meant to do?" He asked, doing hs best to sound somewhat positive, though it was failing miserably. All he wanted to do was cry. It was safe to say he missed Trixie greatly.

Trixie watched him for a few moments as he tilted his head back, looking back at her lap after a few moments. She gently recrossed her legs, because of the nervous energy being near him caused. She watched him for a few moments, and she felt pity- for a few moments, at least. Until the image of him and Sierra popped back into her mind, draining the feeling as quickly as it had come. "Just hang around with me. My company wants people to realize we're normal people, we have lives, friends, relationships. Try and make us more relatable." She shrugged, fiddling with her hands for a few moments longer. "Is... is there anything you want to do? Talk about?" She asked quietly.

Matt listened, nodding slowly as she finished talking. He doubted he would get anything out of it, for him at least, but this time he just ddidn't care. It's not like he had much else to do. "Right. There isnt much to do, at least yet." he started, his tone flatline. He felt..strange, like he wanted to stand up straight and just punch whatever was in front of him except he wasnt angry. Nerves maybe? He shifted from one foot to the other, glancing up at the fountain for a brief couple of seconds, before bringing his gaze back down. "I assume you were meant to come with someone else, so where is he? Dissapointed by the downgrade you had to settle with?" He asked, clearly referring to himself. His tone wasnt passive aggressive though the sentence seemed it, but then his tone wasnt anything. It was just stupidly numb.
