but anyway, it needs to be a time when everyone can do it. a birthday party would also include other guests, which means the kids and their families. if they planned it in advance, it's unfair to ask for it to be rescheduled

Nate sat up as she got up and left. He just sat there for a bit, letting her have her space. He hoped she wasn't riding, she was pregnant, she shouldn't be riding right now.
He just sat there, thinking. He didn't know what he did wrong.

She untacked and groomed out the mare before turning her out and cleaning up the poles. She walked back inside, the smile still on her face, and got dressed. She went over to Nate. "Hey, you okay?"
