Sage had waited for Amira to come back, humming softly. "Tired," he chuckled. "Help me upstairs," he asked, knowing he could walk around but not entirely sure how the stairs would go quite yet

Amira jumped up anxiously, wrapping her arm around him to support most of his weight and avoid sutures. "I got you" She said softly, helping him up the stairs

Sage chuckled softly and wrapped an arm around her, able to go up mostly on his own....though it was slow going and he needed a break halfway up.

"Take your time, my love" She said, hearing Liz begin to cry. "Shit. I'll get her once you're in bed"

Sage paused at the top of the stairs, though when Liz started crying he waved her off. "Go get her. I can make it to the bedroom," he mused softly, pecking her cheek and heading for the bed

"Are you sure?" She asked, listening to him and warily glancing behind her as she went to grab their daughter. She put Liz back to bed and dashed to Sage's side, worried

Sage hummed and nodded, moving to their bedroom. It wasn't far, and he had the wall to support him, so he made it there ok, and was curling up under the covers when she came back

"Do you need anything, handsome?"

Sage smiled softly at her and shook his head. "Just to go to sleep," he noted with a chuckle, patting the bed next to him tiredly. "And to cuddle my beautiful girlfriend," he added with a more mischievous grin

Amira had a small, soft smile appear on her lips as she cautiously got into the bed. She was careful to not jostle any injuries or incisions as she laid down next to him. "Is this okay?" She asked thoughtfully, taking his hand and worriedly looking in his eyes
