“You always make me feel so safe,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “Like… no matter what happens, as long as we’re together, it’ll be okay.” She looked up at him with that same vulnerable softness in her eyes. “I love you so much, Finn.”

Finn smiled, taking her hand and pressing it to his chest, so she could feel his heartbeat and he pressed his hand to hers, feeling their heartbeats in sync.
