Matt smiled and nodded, happily spending another couple of minutes with his arm wrapped round her until he finally decided to get himself up. "I'll shower first, then join you to sleep. Don't miss me too much" He smiled, hauling himself up from the bed. He stretched a little, gave Trixie another little hug before heading to the bathroom to shower. - we should probably figure out another plot line now they're back in the dreamland thing) Edited at December 26, 2023 05:28 PM by Wayside Wilds

Trixie stayed cuddled up to him until he spoke, when she tilted her head up at him slightly. "I'll do my hardest, but it might be difficult." She smiled at her little hug, reciprocating it eagerly before he headed off. Once he did, she settled back into bed, curling up and closing her eyes.

After he had showered, Matt dried and changed, before making his way back into the room and joining Trixie, sliding under the duvet. He wrapped his arms around her gently, resting his head on the pillow. "Goodnight" he said softly, closing his eyes to fall asleep promptly after.

Trixie blinked when she felt his weight in the bed, shifting closer to him when his arms curled around her. "Goodnight, Matt." She said in turn, wrapping her arms around him and gently stroking his hair as he faded off to sleep. She did the same shortly after.

It had been maybe a month or two since they had somehow ended up in the dreamland, and despite the fact neither of them had figured out whether they had been there before or not, everything was going rather well. Well, kind of. As attatched to Trixie as Matt had become, the guilt seemed to overtake the strong feelings and he had done his best to distance himself just a little from her, which made him feel even worse each day. Of course, he still saw her every single day, sometimes she slept round his and someone he slept round hers, but considering they both had jobs it was a little easier. Matt had started working in what he thought was either the most exciting or more boring job- a pub. Whilst he hated the fact he had to stand around for hours on end pulling pints, serving drunk middle aged men with beer bellies and be yelled at by chefs, he liked the fact he could..socialise. Forget about most other things because he was starting conversations with new people- and the main thing that made him feel guilty, flirting with whoever flirted first. It was quite late of an evening when he was called into work, though he wasnt meant to be. He'd been with Trixie all day, and as he stood up and grabbed his jacket ready to go, apologised. "I'll have to see you tomorrow, I apologise. You can stay here instead of going back to yours if you like" he said, smiling weakly. He had no idea whether Trixie had picked up on how off he ahd been or not.

Should she come around when he's flirting with someone?)) Trixie had somehow been tugged back into the modeling scene within their first month, and she seemed happy with it. She was more comfortable there than with any other job- she knew what to do, at least. The hours were regular, with the occasional event thrown in. Generally, her favorite part of the day was coming home to see him. She had never asked why he chose a pub over anything else, she figured that would be rude- and she couldn't quite figure it out on herself. She had noticed, however, that he was constantly withdrawing from her. It usually upset her- some days more than others, but she tried not to let that on. She tilted her head at him when he stood to leave, giving him a dissapointed smile. "That's alright. I think I'll head home- or, I could stop by for a bit? Maybe give you a little bit of friendly company?" She seemed excited by the idea.
