Lorelei nodded, clinging onto him.

"What do you want me to doordash?" He asked softly

Lorelei shook her head. She just wanted him. She curled up in her bed with him, refusing to let go. She slept like that with her arms and legs wrapped around him.

Kai held her close, not able to sleep. He sighed, humming a soft and comforting tune to her as she slept. The sun rose the next morning and Kai kissed her forehead. He didn't try to disturb her, rubbing her back gently and humming

Lorelei woke a little while later. She looked up at him with a yawn. "...hi,"

"why, hello, beautiful" He murmured, smiling softly at her. "Would you like breakfast?"
| |

Lorelei shook her head. She just wanted to cling onto him, not letting go. "Don't go..." she whispered.

"Never" He said softly, holding her close. "Are you still scared?" He asked softly. "You do know I'll always protect you, right? From anything under the sun." He said softly in her ear, rubbing her back. He sat up, crrying her with him, and pulled his sweatshirt over his head. He placed it on her, helping her arms through the holes

Lorelei nodded, getting into his sweatshirt, holding onto him tightly.

Kai knew the sweatshirt smelled like him and he hoped that would help at least a little. "It's okay...Nobody will ever hurt you again. What would you like to do today, sweetheart?" He asked softly, his strong arms wrapped gently but snuggly around her. "I could read with you and I could doordash food and watch a movie tonight. Does that sound okay, darling?" He asked softly. "And I have another question."
