Caleb woke the next morning, getting dressed quickly, and went outside to feed Splash

Josephine got up and dressed to go handle her own chores that she liked to keep for herself to do. Her parents had left earlier in the morning to head to some sort of expo, leaving her and Caleb alone for a while. Josephine headed outside to the chicken coop to collect the eggs.

After feeding Splash, Caleb wandered into the tack room to clean his saddle

Josephine finished collecting the eggs and putting them up before heading to the barn to see Tobias. And perhaps to see if Caleb was anywhere near by.

Caleb heard footsteps walk down the barn aisle and he hopped up, placing the saddle back onto it's rack. He put his hands in his pockets and approached Jospehine. "Hey" He said lightly

Josephine smiled when she heard footsteps coming her way. She kissed the gelding's nose before turning to face Caleb. "Hey. How'd you sleep?" She asked, dusting her hands off on the back of her jeans.

"Like the dead" He joked, smiling at her

Josephine laughed and smiled. "Same here, honestly."

"What'ya want to do today?" He asked, smiling at her

Josephine shrugged. "I have no idea. My parents will be gone all day, so the ranch is all ours unti this evening."
