Adrien grinned, "Waterproof fire?" He traded quietly. Well, half tease, half legit. His eyes followed the flame as it seemed to swim under the water.

"Hey, don't mock me, I didn't think it could happen." Frynn joked with a small grin, her blue eyes lighting up as she watched the fire circle within the water while her fingers brushed his. She finally pulled back, and after a second the fire extinguished on his hand. She studied hers for a second longer, memorizing exactly the feel, then let it poof away as well.

Adrien smiled slightly. "That's really cool actually..." He murmured, running a watery hand through his hair.

"Well of course it's cool- water and fire finally mixing. I've been trying to do that for YEARS." Frynn smiled widely, her eyes glittering as she let the same fire pop into her hand before lowering it towards the water. It did the same thing, but only for a couple seconds before racing up towards the surface, then twisting around and flickering down again. "Weird..." she mused, glancing at Adrien with a smile. "Well thanks. You've been helpful." She joked with a small chuckle, sitting back slightly.

Adrien hummed. "Glad I could be helpful for once." He said without really thinking. He leaned back in the river, letting the water flow over and around hid body. It was nice... he slightly wished Frynn could feel it as well.

"You're helpful a lot." Frynn answered, glancing at him again. He looked so comfortable, but to her water was always slightly chilly. She loved swimming, but she had never really fit in. A sudden sense of uneasiness came about her, so she glanced away and let her eyes glow, scanning the forest quickly. No humans. Relaxing, her eyes faded back to normal, her gaze returning to the gurgling blue water. "What does it feel like? Being able to control water ?" She asked quietly.

Adrien hummed quietly. "I don't know how to explain it... kind of like... he'll I don't know..." He murmured. It was hard to explain. "I guess... sory of like... a liquid spreading along your fingers, pulling the water to your hand then... changing it? Like a smooth, metallic feel spreading across your skin..." He mumbled.
Frynn listened, her head tilted slightly as she occasionally glanced at him. "That makes sense." She imagined the feel, then another question tickled at her mind. "I know this sounds silly, but does the water ever feel.. or.. act, I guess.. alive, to you? When the fire runs across the surface of my hand it almost looks like.. its playing, or something. I don't know. It's probably a stupid question." She glanced away, quieting and staring at her hands.

Adrien nodded. "Rivers are alive. The ocean is alive. That was a silly question. But not for the reason you think. Yes, it usually does. But it flows to the movement of yourself. It's hard to use when unfocused." He told her with a slight smile. His eyes still closed as the water ran over his body.

Frynn winced slightly, but she understood what Adrien was saying. Mostly. "That makes a vague amount of sense." She answered with a faint smile, reaching her hand into the water and reminiscing the way it trickled around her skin. She was quiet for a while, thinking. If only her and Adrien could be normal friends. She wasn't even sure if he would consider them friends.
