Ryker took in a shallow breath before finishing a quick brush down on Serpant and walking out of the barn. He saw Abby on the ground, but she looked... alive? Eh, he'd better check. "You okay?" He asked, although he really just wanted to go to his cabin and look at pictures of his beautiful chestnut horse.

Abby held up a finger for a second. "Hold on" she managed. "Help?" She asked, holding her hand out. "Wait. Nevermind" she managed to pull herself up to her feet. "Im good. Sun spooked. I fell. My fault for not paying attention." She brushed off the sand that was covering her legs and back. She shook her copper hair, using her hand to brush it out. She collected Sun and walked back to the barn because it was getting dark. "Thanks for checking on me though" she led Sun back into her stall and patted the mare, waving at Ryker "night friend!" She said before walking back to the house. She stopped at the door. +inside or outside?+ she shook her head, climbing into the tree. She settled down for the night.

Ryker waited while abby decided if she needed help or not, nodding slowly at her explanation. "oookay then. Glad you are okay. And you are welcome." He answered, touching his fingers to his brow in a joking salute before walking towards his cabin. "night, but don't fall out of the tree again!" he called back with a slight laugh, entering the small place he called home. As a nightly routine he changed into more comfortable pants, took off the flannel shirt, laid in bed, and failed to fall asleep.

(Hehehehhee) - Abby had finally been asleep for a few hours when a car door jerked her awake. She stared into the night, her eyes adjusting to the headlights. She rubbed her eyes but only saw the cat before the lights went out. She looked around, her hair slapping her face as she moved. Suddenly she herd something beneath her. She screeched and tried to climb higher before it grabbed her and pulled her down. She screamed right when a hand flew to her mouth, trapping only the tail end of her cry for help. That's when she noticed. Gavin was back. He pulled her toward the car but she fought hard, biting his finger so he pulled away. "RYKER!!l she cried out beofre Gavin grabbed her jaw to keep her quiet

(I have been waiting for this moment since last night XD) +++ Ryker couldn't seem to fall asleep. His leg hurt more than usual. He stood up out of his bed and half-limped to the kitchen area to get some water when he heard a cry. It sounded like.. Abby? He then awoke enough to see the dim light of headlights up the hill. His concern spiked, he quickly limped out and silently went up the hill, crouching low when he saw the figure of a man grabbing who he thought was Abby. Ryker grit his jaw and sidled in the shadows, moving sideways, keeping a wide berth. Once he was behind the car he crept closer, then dodged out at the man. With his elbow Ryker hit the man's jaw, who he now identified as Gavin, hearing a crack. He then kneed gavin in the groin, his teeth still grit. "Get away from her ... you selfish... pile... of dung..." He hissed.

Abby fell backwards, hitting her head on the car and almost knocking her out. She grabbed at the back of her head with one hand and used the other to hold onto her jaw. Gavin laid there.

Ryker grabbed Gavin by his shirt collar and pretty much slammed the guy again the car. "Did I not tell you this was private property? I may just have to call the police soon. Not even to mention the fact you just HURT Abby PURPOSEFULLY and you were goin to drag her off in your car?" he growled.

Gavin groaned in pain. He tried to fight back but he could barely hood his head up. He gave a big push against Ryker, pushing him just enough to escape. Gavin jumped over Abby to get into his car, then drove away. - Abby was able to hold herself up when the car drove off. Her eyes were watering

Ryker lurched back when he was pushed, right in his bruised cracked-ribs chest. he let out a hiss of pain, watching Gavin drive away quite fast. +Coward! He didn't even try to throw a punch!+ Ryker thought, quickly kneeling down beside Abby. "Hey, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" He asked with concern.

Abby shook her head. Her head was throbbing where it had gotten hit on the car. Her jaw had a bruised handprint where Gavin had held her. But other than that she was fine. She looked at Ryker
