Nate glanced her up and down, subtly intimidated by her. He shrugged. "I would do the same." He smiled slightly, glancing over the rest of the room where they'd been. "So amazing." So much sarcasm. He looked back at her. "I'm very unpredictable." He walked down the hallway, touching nothing other than to wipe off door handles. He'd been careful not to touch anything unnecessarily. He walked back into the kitchen and wiped down the counter with his shirt. And then the window with a towel he found. Then he took it to the front door. "Ladies first." He opened it for her, using the towel to keep his hand from touching it.

"I've noticed." Tempe said playfully, trailing after him somewhat like a puppy as he wandered through the house, watching him wipe random things down curiously. She blinked as they found themselves at the front door, tucking her wings tightly to make it through the door frame. "How very polite of you. Such a gentleman." She said sarcastically, trotting down the steps and grinning as she made it onto the front lawn. She promptly spread her wings as wide as they would go and turned on her heel, flopping back-first onto the ground and grinning at the sky.

Nate locked the door and shut it behind him, tossing the hand towel in the yard, watching her. "You would be great at snow Angels wouldn't you?" He wiggled his eyebrows- though it was pretty dark out there. He walked over by her head, taking a step back and laying down so they where both looking up and their heads were close. He was admiring all of the constellations, turning rather quiet. Edited at December 4, 2023 08:53 PM by Prismatic Cove

"The best." Temp smiled, watching him walk over her with a huff. "If you step on my feathers I'll slap you." It came out distinctly playful, not entirely a threat. She turned her head so she could see his hair, gently lifting her wings from the ground so she could settled one on either side of him, a stark blanket of snowy feathers. She seemed happy with the impulse decision.

"i would never." He rolled slightly, putting his hands, laced up, on his chest. He didn't notice her her wings til they came into view, he looked at his sides. Felt a little like a threat. He smiled, staring back up at the stars, and the wide and full moon. "I forgot about stargazing, honestly." He said, laughing slightly.

"Somehow I feel like you would." Tempe mocked, narrowing her eyes at him and then staring at the sky again. She grinned. "The sky is so fun. I love nighttime. I swear I could just fly forever if I were allowed to." She said lightly, a slightly dreamy tone and look in her eyes.

Nate tipped his back to look at her. "On a completely unrelated note, are your wings ticklish?" He was grinning enough for it to be heard in his voice. "I would drive forever." He looked back up at the sky. Shutting his eyes.

Tempe sent a glare at the sky that he couldn't see. "They're very sensitive. But do you wanna find out?" She asked lightly, lifting her wings and flopping one on top of him playfully.

Nate was audibly surprised with a quiet yelp as her wing landed on all of him except his face. "Oh they're soft." He reached up, immediately distracted and started petting her as if she wasn't there.

"Duh, they're s-" Tempe was cut off by him stroking her feathers. A faint shiver ran down her spine and she relaxed into the ground slightly, involuntarily, turning her head and watching him in silence. It felt nice, and her brain went a little blank as he went on petting her wing. Her feathers were somewhat downy, and they carried a distinct warmth rather than a chill.
