Tyler walked out of the door, waiting for Andi. "It's no problem." He smiled, continuing down the hallway and out the lobby. Now that they were outside Tyler felt much better. It was a great day for flying... cool, slightly windy. He kept walking at a mostly ambling pace... since his stomach was starting to hurt. Raven woke up As soon as they got outside, giving a little yip. Tyler couldn't wait to get home so he could dig up all his dog supplies.

Andi was walking side by side with Tyler throughout the walk. For one because Jasper wanted to be ahead of the two scouting the area out. Secondly was that she had no clue where she was going. She hummed a tune quietly to herself as they walked along, soon most of Jaspers energy was gone so he stayed walking beside Andi for the rest of it. Andi also wasn't the most graceful person, as she would trip on slightly raised sidewalks a lot but never face planted.

Tyler turned onto a country road. "Only another mile." He said, lengthening his strides slightly. Raven was trying to squirm out of his arms now, urging to get down and play with Jasper. Tyler turned off the dirt road and into a long driveway, which led to a very small cabin. It had a big yard though. "I think I own 50 acres over here... but the cabin is rather small." Tyler informed Andi, finally setting Raven down. She dashed off, wagging her tail and sniffing everything, then just ran in circles jumping up and down. Tyler chuckled slightly, walking into the cabin and going into the small living room where he pulled a box out of a closet. Tyler searched through the box. Toy... toy... toy... leash and collar. He grabbed the leash and the collar, going outside. His last dog was a coonhound, and labs were a little bulkier but Raven was a small female. The puppy ran up to him, her tail wagging. Tyler tried on the collar, happy it seemed to fit perfectly.

Andi looked around in awe by the little country road -this is beautiful- she thought to herself "Oh wow that's a lot of land, wish I owned that much land." She watched Tyler set Raven down and decided to unclip Jasper to let him run around, he had a good recall but the only reason she kept him on a leash was she didn't trust people to not try and snatch Jasper. As soon as he got unclipped he went prancing off to Raven to go play. Andi stood outside watch the two run around while Tyler walked off inside. She glanced at the collar he put on "Wow that fits perfectly" She crouched down petting Raven gently "Now we gotta get her a dog tag" She stood back up looking at Jasper to see if he was okay

Tyler nodded. "I knew I could never live being by people all the time... so I got a small cabin on a lot of land, back off an old country road." Tyler smiled slightly. "And yes, we will need to get Raven a tag but that can come later. First I will teach her when I say her name... she needs to pay attention." Tyler mused, almost to himself. He crouched down on the ground, then threw a threat. Raven chased it across the ground, gulping it up. She sniffed around for more, wagging her tail. "Raven" Tyler said. As Raven heard his voice she turned and looked for more treats. "Yes!" Tyler marked it, tossing another treat. Raven ran of happily. Tyler said her name again. "Raven". Raven came dashing back, hoping she got another treat. "Yes!" Tyler marked it yet again, handing Her a treat. - (That's actually how you train dogs to listen to their name... 'The Name Game' it's actually really fun to play lol)

(taking notes so I'll be able to train my next puppy good lol) ~ Andi laughed slightly "I don't blame you, sometimes I want to move out away from people.." She stood silently listening to what Tyler was saying, she nodded taking a mental note of what he was saying. She watched as Raven responded quickly to hearing her name, she smiled slighty thinking it was cute as Raven was always looking for a treat with her name.

Tyler chuckled, standing. "Anyway, its best to train puppies in short training sessions. 5 minutes at most when they are young." Tyler said, watching Regan run off to go explore the cabin. He could tell right away she would be a strong, muscular dog. A swift one, too. Just her movement, so perfectly proportioned. Dogs were just a wonder. "I think that dogs are better than any angel. They are selfless and caring, loving their owners with an unabounding love humans or angels could never dream of getting." Tyler murmured quietly, watching Raven's tail wag at about one hundred miles per hour.

Andi watched as Raven ran off "That seems reasonable, probably won't be able to get them to focus any longer than that" She glanced up looking at Jasper who was just wondering around sniffing anything and everything. "Jasper.." She called out loud, she waited for him to look over "Here boy" She took two finger pointing them at him then right by her side. He bolted off towards Andi aat he word 'here', he sat down by her side waiting for the next command. She croutched over petting him as she listened to Tyler "I believe that too. Dogs are the perfect creatures that angels nor humans could ever be..." She continued croutching next to Jasper as he rolled over asking for belly rubs

As Jasper ran up to Andi, Raven tipped and ran full speed at Jasper. She tripped right before she got to him, rolling into his side and bouncing off. Raven just lay in the dirt for a moment, stunned, then she jumped up and started trying to leap into Tyler's arms. Tyler laughed as Raven fell over. He tipped his head and bent down, picking the smaller puppy up. "Aaaand guess what else? She has no nerve endings." Tyler rolled his eyes, keeping the puppy away from his face as she attempted to lick it... again.

Andi looked up just in time so see Raven trip, she let out a small laugh. She watched as Raven leaped up into Tylers arms "That's good at least she won't be dramatic like this Queen B here" She looked back down at Jasper smilng. Jasper hated anything that gave him the ick he was the most dramatic dog Andi had ever met. He hated mud on his paws, water dripping on his face, alumini foil noise , etc. Basically anything that Jasper couldn't stand he'd let out a long dramatic howl. Andi laughed again thinking about it before standing back up Edited at April 27, 2023 07:34 AM by The Ghost Barn
