Sage continued to fight both men. He was getting tired, so he decided to take a risk. He managed to kill one man, but he got a side wound in the process. His rib did it's job and stopped the blade from hitting any organs, but he would definitely need to stitch himself up later. But for right now, he needed to take care of the last man. He knew he could only last for so long as much as he was bleeding, so even though he was gritting his teeth to keep going, he lunged at the man as quick as ever.

Ellie heard the fighting she covers her ears with her hands and curled up more as she cried waiting for the fighting to stop.

The second man was more gullible, so Sage allowed himself to be thrown into a wall and he lay there, faking unconsciousness. The man turned to the ledge where Ellie was at and Sage jumped at him and killed him easily. Once it was all over, he crawled over to Ellie. "Hey...it's all over now. Just take a deep breath."

Ellie quickly clung to him crying she had pulled herself almost on top of him. "i..im sorry.. i just- when he grabbed me.. Im so scared" she buried her face in his neck and sniffled.

He patted her back. "I know. It's alright. There's nothing wrong with fear."

She started to calm down a bit but she wouldnt let go, its been so long since shes had this kind of attention. her breathing was a bit shaky.

He waited for her to calm down, knowing what it felt like to have something remind you of something else. He would have to stitch himself up, but he wasn't in serious danger of bleeding out, so he had no issues with staying there with Ellie for a while.

She fully calmed down after a while and sat back were she was earlier and wipes her eyes.

He sat back too and raised an eyebrow slightly. "Better?"

She nods sightly and sighs hugging her knees a bit
