Matt made himself comfy and then let Trixie do the same, looking down at her after she had done so. Once the movie was put on he managed to relax a little, not realising how tense he had actually been. "I'd say yes. Try not to fall asleep though" he said, his voice soft. He cast his gaze from her to the tv every now and then, purely out of habit.

Trixie turned the movie on, smiling up at his tone. "I'll do my best." She said gently, sitting up and leaning her head on his shoulder instead. She curled her legs up and laid her hand gently on his knee, stretching ever so slightly.

Matt smiled in acknowledgement, looking up to watch the movie. The rest of it passed quite comfortably, though he stopped paying attention towards the end, paying more attention to Trixie more than anything. After it ended he made no attention to move, looking down at her with a smile. "Wanna watch something different? Or do something else?" he asked, quickly looking outide. It was starting to get a little dim, indicating it was a least getting late.

"I don't mind. If we watch something else, you're picking and I want actual cuddling, if possible." Trixie huffed teasingly. She wasn't trying to force him into being sweet with her, but she genuinely missed being... a couple with him. "We could always nap. Napping is fun." She suggested happily, reaching up to stroke his hair.

"If you sat up properly i'm sure that would have been a lot more possible this whole time" Matt said, narrowing his eyes in a playful way. He nodded eagerly at her suggestion, letting her stroke his hair quite contentedly. "I was gonna suggest going upstairs anyway. Easier to reach your demand of cuddling then" he said with a slight laugh. Carefully he slid out from under Trixie, standing up slowly and reaching a hand out to offer also helping her up.

"Hey, where theres a will, there's a way." Trixie huffed teasingly, chuckling at his next comment. "I wouldn't say it's a demand. More of a forceful reccomendation." She grinned, grabbing his hand and standing. She lead him lightly to the stairs. "I was hoping the next place we went would have a blanket. You might've read my mind."

"In my opinion a forceful reccomendation is a demand, so you're not making it much of a difference there." Matt smiled, following her to the stairs. "Exactly. Easier to fall asleep that way, if we're planning on it" he added, making his way up to his room, having to guess which one it was. Luckily he got it right first time and, after she had passed him into the room, shut the door. "Are you happy with picking the next movie? Or am I gonna have to?" he asked, sitting himself down on the bed.

"There is a difference, I swear." Trixie huffed, offering him a playful smile once she walked into the room. "You're definitely gonna have to." She nodded, brushing past him so she could lay down. After, she watched him, waiting somewhat eagerly for him to lay down beside her.

"Alright, but be prepared for it to be something along the lines of horror. Same as always" he smiled, eventually prising his shoes off so he could move. He laid down next to Trixie, turning the tv on and scrolling through. He put on the very first thing he could find knowing he was too tired, and distracted, to pay much attention to it.

"Eugh, fine." Trixie smiled, laying her head on his shoulder happily. She curled up slightly, moving to lay on her side so she could lay an arm over him. She watched the TV in a minorly interested way, her head tilted into him slightly.
