Sage hummed softly. "Little sore, but not quite so drugged up," he noted with a chuckle. "But I can breathe fine," he added. That was good at least

Amira nodded and kissed his head. "Good"

Sage smiled and nodded, shifting the sleeping Liz slightly in his arms. "I guess it was good we were here when things got bad," he sighed.

"I was so scared..." She admitted, a tear rolling down her face

Sage sighed softly and reached up to wipe the rear off her face. "I know," he noted softly. "But we got through it ok. And we'll get even better as i heal."

Amira nodded, looking at him desperately

Sage pecked her cheek softly, sighing after a moment. "I do wonder how long they're gonna make me stay here," he mused.

"They'll tell us today most likely"

Sage hummed softly with a nod. Nurses had come and gone, but if the doctor had come in, he'd been asleep so far. "I hope we can go home soon," he admitted

A doctor walked in, a reassuring smile on his face. "Well, it looks like you should be good to head home tomorrow morning. Just sit tight for today so we can make sure everything's all good long-term."
