10:00:52 [1k+ brindles] Angel -Click- This is the only queen bee for sale that is the coloration I am obsessed with, but sadly she has another gene that is reducing her pattern further. I may have to go to a reptile show to find one or get in contact with a breeder |
09:55:36 [1k+ brindles] Angel Revel Yes but sadly there are still many people who unethically breed them so it is still around |
09:55:16 I would get a palmetto corn snake, but their eyes are bulgy as a result of the genetics to get that morph. |

Once Sage finished eating, Quinn, desperate to move, plopped Caspian in his lap and went to clean up the rest of everything. When there was stuff to do, she could not sit still. And yet, she was still usually so tired. Weird how the human body worked. It only took about half a minute to get everything in order, in which case she sat back down beside him, gently taking Caspian back and casting a smile towards Sage. "Happy first anniversary." She chirped quietly, bending over to kiss him with a smile, glad they could just relax the whole day. Or do whatever they wanted, for once, as long as it meant not hurting him or leaving the kids alone. Totally left a lot of options. In any case, it didn't really matter, as she was happy. Content. It was sunny and warm out, the birds were chirping, and for once Eeyore was quiet. Life was good. She sighed with pleasure and let her eyes drift shut for a couple moments, thinking about how nice it was to just.. exist. And how glad she was to be back with Sage. As far as she was concerned, she was stabbing any other male to death that they came across, and Sage was the best person ever in every way shape and form.

Sage took the second baby happily, knowing Caspian was content to lay against his side and not run away, like frynn was currently trying to do. Of course, Quinn came back soon to take him back, and, sage was more than thrilled when she bent over to kiss him. He tilted his chin up to kiss her back, a happy rumble growing in his throat. "Happy first anniversary, babe," he hummed, grinning up at her delightedly once shed pulled away, eyes following her as she closed her eyes and relaxed. She really was good looking, and he couldn't help but send a rather dirty thought down their phone line into her mind, of what he was thinking could happen that night. Of course, it was purposeful, though he kept his face open and innocent, really just trying to mess around with the girl a bit. Get her flustered, because goodness knows he'd get flustered the moment anything happened between them, so he'd do this while he could.

Quinn chuckled lightly at the way his face was just glowing. She jokingly hoped he didn't explode with happiness. As she was having a perfectly relaxing peaceful mental moment, an image popped into her mind that made her glad the kids were not mind readers. A smile curled onto her face, a honestly, all she could really think was challenge accepted. She knew he got flustered easily, and it was quite humorous when he did, so she wasn't going to lose in this game, mental or not. She easily sent back a thought of her own, out doing his by the slightest bit. She smirked at him, her emerald eyes glittering. However, her face was broken as soon as she saw Frynn, who was toppling face first off of Sage's chest and landing on her back, then staring up at the sky in wonder, then letting out a squeal of glee, climbing back up, and repeating the whole process. Quinn grinned widely. How were kids so exhausting and funny at the same time.

Sage had just blinked innocently at Quinn when she glanced his way, but felt satisfaction run through his chest when he noticed her smile. Of course, when she sends thim an image back, he felt his face heat up and the temperature around him rise at least ten degrees. He sort of just gawked at the girl before raising an eyebrow as if challenging her to actually do that to him later tonight, though he grunted when frynn used his chest as a launch pad and he had to make sure the girl wasn't going to hurt herself as she wandered around. He couldn't get those images out of his head by then though, and he knew he'd definitely tease Quinn if she wound up not coming through later on. She probably knew it too, of course, but still. For now, the babies were the priority. Once they were asleep, he and Quinn could have their fun.

Quinn waited a couple seconds before looking at Sage, smirking with amusement at his red face. Even the slightest thing- okay fine, not the slightest thing, but meh. Even that could make him blush. He was so fun to tease because of it. Quinn flashed an equally innocent, yet daring smile, as if to accept his challenge with full force. However, as she was amazing at switching gears, a second later her mind was on Frynn again, who had taken to attempting to jump off instead of fall off. "She's the one we're going to need to bubble wrap (FORGET WE'RE IN MEDIEVAL TIMES, IM USING THE WORDS) our entire house for." Quinn joked lightly, looking back into the fire with a smile. At this point, she was almost willing the sun to fall out of the sky. Why did time pass so slowly. Would it never set? Huffing quietly, she cradling Caspian in one arm and slowly stood, making sure not to drop Sage's head onto the ground as she went to go grab something. A small wood block and her carving tools, which she was quite adept at and loved doing in her free time. She sat back down, looking at the wood, which already had some indents in it, but she had barely started and had no idea what she wanted it to actually be. "I need ideas on what to carve, my brain is empty..." she grumbled lowly, at the same time asking Sage for help.

Sage just grinned back at Quinn, his heart seeming to flutter around in his chest when she accepted the challenge. Last time, he'd been on top, but apparently it seemed the roles would be reversed tonight. He didn't mind...in fact if Quinn stuff like what she had just showed him, he figured it would be quite comfortable for him. No... comfortable wasn't the right word. He wasn't sure if there was a right word. But he'd definitely enjoy himself. He groaned when she mentioned frynn, shifting subtly so she didn't hit her head on anything while she jumped or...anything. "I know," he groaned fondly. The girl had seemed to have gotten his energy...and his appetite, considering how long she normally nursed for. He watched Quinn go grab her carving things and hummed in thought. "you could do one of the kids," he mused. "Or the cabin." He wasn't entirely sure what her scope was, but he figured either of those would be manageable.

Quinn chuckled as the baby girl fell over the other way, then crawled back up with even more exuberance, like she had just found a new slide at a Waterpark. "She got it from youuu." Quinn teased lightly, grinning as she looked down at her carving block. She took his words to mind and started chipping away, until you could at least tell a cabin started to appear. It would take days to actually finish it, with how much spare time she had on her hands. A couple hours later, they had just finished an early dinner, so it was still light outside- but not for too long. The sun was starting to set in the blue sky, sinking towards the horizon line, where it would disappear altogether soon. Quinn walked over to where Sage was. "Come on. I have a place I want you to see." She smiled, holding Caspian as she walked towards a direction they hadn't really gone around their cabin. It was more in the back corner, and the path she revealed was hidden by leaves and bushes. She walked down it for a couple minutes before turning left, climbing the slope of a tall hill. On top, there was a stunning sight. They were above all the trees, as when they were walking it had been gently sloping up the whole time. Mountains in the distance were snow capped and majestic. Trees stretched as far as the eye could see. They could also see their little cabin, not too far away. The grass on top of the hill was green, thick, and warmed by the sun, which was slowly sinking, casting beautiful colors, and they had a full view of it.

Sage had simply laughed in response to Quinn's tease about giving frynn his energy. "I wouldn't doubt that," he chirped, letting the girl clamber all over his chest however she so pleased. He wanted to tire her out so he and Quinn could have some alone time later. He figured she wanted that too. They'd busied themselves soon after that, getting done what needs to get done before he glanced over at her when she tugged at him. He followed her along happily, wandering up to stand next to her, eyes widening at the sight. He cleaned his head around, trying to see as much as he could with only one eye. The gentle breeze ruffled his hair, sending thousands of scents and sounds through his nose and ears and he moved them slightly, picking up all he could. "It's beautiful Quinn," he purred happily, turning to point at the cabin. "Look, that's our house," he crooned to frynn, who was finally settling down tiredly in his arms. They stayed there until the sun dipped below the horizon, his spare arm sliding around Quinn's waist as they stood there waiting. Once the sun had set though, he moved to peck her cheek. "I'll put the kids down and then I'll spoil you," he chirped, figuring they'd exchange presents and then have their other fun if they still wanted it. And he definitely did. Hopefully, Quinn was as willing to boss him around in bed as she'd mentioned earlier.

Quinn gazed out at the view, her green eyes sparking with the red of the setting sun. It was so beautiful. "It is." She agreed quietly, leaning into him slightly as she cradled Caspian in her arms. Even Frynn fell still. Quinn breathed in the fresh air, relaxing as they stood their, just enjoying the sunset. When it had fully set, she glanced up at him with a smile, nodding. They walked back down the hill and to the cabin, where she settled Caspian in, then went to go grab something that was tucked in a bookshelf. She walked over to Sage, trying not to start worrying again. "I only have one thing, and it really isn't much, but it did take a while to make." She commented, a bit sheepishly, handing him a square thing wrapped in cloth. Underneath, there was a wood carving of their whole family, surrounded by a heart, then some intricate detailing. The whole thing was incredible detailed, down to the amber color of Sage's eyes. She had covered it with a coat of wax so it would never fade and stay nice and shiny. "Happy first anniversary." Quinn said softly, tilting her chin up to kiss him.

Sage had wandered back down to the cabin, hand in hand with Quinn, moving to settle the now sleeping frynn down in her bed while Quinn took care of Caspian. Hopefully, they two of them would stay asleep for a while so he and Quinn could do as they pleased for a while. He took the little package from Quinn with a grin when she handed it to her, and then grabbed a bag he'd hidden under the bed for the past couple of days and handed it to her. It contained some gardening equipment that he'd found at the farm, along with seeds for various vegetables and fruits and such. There were even things like blueberry bushes and such. Once she had her gift, he moved to open his, a grin breaking out of his face when he peered at it. "This is....really good, Quinn," he laughed, peering down at all the little details. He moved to meet her kiss happily, purring a "happy first anniversary," back at her, practically buzzing with excitement and energy, despite the fact that it was getting late. He moved to set the carving down on the windowsill, then moved back to wrap his arms around her and press a light kiss to her neck, eyes glittering. "I hope you're prepared to hold your end of the bargain," he cooed, definitely flirting by then.
