"Naw. And it ain't lying! I sound like a frog!" Ryker protested before grinning a little. "Picked up on it, eh? But in any case, before I met you, the girl of my dreams wouldn't hold a candle to you. You're so much better." He paused with a slight smile before nodding. "It's an amazing gift and miracle you have been blessed with."

Abby grinned "think what you want Mr. Ryker Rivera. You can think you sound like a frog all you want. Ribbet Ribbet! " she jumped up and crossed the room quickly before he could get her
| |
Ryker snorted slightly. "Don't say Mr!" He protested, playfully glaring at her, and even making a grab at her. Buuuut she was already gone. He wasn't going to move now. "Okay, fine, I sound better than a FROG, but not much."
| |
"Sing for me? I'll sing with you!" She grinned when he tried to grab her. "Hehe I'm just too fast for you" she skipped back over to Ryker and plopped down on the bed. "I'm so happy"
| |
Ryker smiled a little "yes, you are too fast. I'm like a tortoise. Slow and steady, as I've said before. And I will sing if you really want, but what song?" He inquired. "I'm happy too. Really, really, really happy. It's hurting my brain, actually."
| |
Abby smiled and leaned she her head against his shoulder like she always did. "I don't know. Pick one. " she kissed his neck. "Then just don't think. Stop thinking. Shut that brain of yours off for once" she reached up and ruffled his hair.
| |
Ryker tilted his head slightly towards her. "I can't stop thinking. It's impossible." He said quietly before starting to sing quietly. "I thank God there's angels for young wild rebels, girls who can dance you away from the devil, make my world spin round the way you do. I thank God for the days on the front porch swinging, holding your hand the whole time and thinking, how lucky I am. Thank God for you." The low country melody worked perfectly with his rather good voice.
| |
Abby sighed softly as he began singing. She glanced out the window. It was barely noon. She relaxed, her eyes dropping slightly. "Your voice is amazing." She closed her eyes as she thought of a song she could sing. "Should I try one?" She asked
| |
"Only a little believable." He answered with a soft smile, nodding. "You definitely should. Your voice is ACTUALLY amazing."
| |
Abby stopped for a second before starting the song. "I close my eyes and I can see a world that's waiting up for me that I call my own. Through the dark, through the door, through where no one's been before, and it feels like home" she took a breath "they can say they can say it all sounds crazy. They can say they can say we've lost our minds. I don't care I don't care so call me crazy. We can live in a world that we design" she looked up at Ryker with a smile as she started the chorus "and every night I lie in bed. The brightest color fill my head. A million dreams are keeping me awake. I think of what the world could be. A vision of the one I see. A million dreams are keeping me awake. Oh a million dreams for the one we're gunna make." She was out of breath even with the minor pauses between verses.
