The next morning, Quinn was dead asleep for a while, but eventually she reminded herself she had to get up someday. She let out a small sigh, her eyes opening slightly as Sage more or less awoke with with a kiss. Smiling faintly, she responded. "Good morning to you, too." She murmured, her eyes closing again for a couple moments. She was still tired, but not so much that she didn't want to get up. The gurgle of a baby made her react, rolling out of bed with a soft grunt and picking up Frynn, who looked rather expectant. Quinn almost couldn't wait to see the girl have to feed herself. She sat back down at the end of the bed, starting to feed Frynn with a yawn and let her brain fully wake up. She had been working on something small for Sage for days now, and it was finished, but she had to get it. And deliver it later; this was too soon. Sage had chuckled softly at the smile that formed on Quinn's face when she half woke to his kiss. He hummed out a happy anniversary, rather excited about the day ahead of them. Normally Quinn was up way before him...but not today! He let out a sort of whine of complaint when she got out of bed, though knew the kid needed to be fed. He sat up once Quinn flopped back down, just watching them happily. He had a small gift for her ....a couple small things actually...but he'd exchange presents later when they were more awake and such.

Quinn was scheming about random things, but she was mostly focused on the day ahead. She hoped that she had enough for Sage... she had ever been the best with presents, especially important ones. She remembered thinking a Tarantula was a good present. Wincing, as that memory had not ended well, she let Frynn finish feeding before standing and giving the small girl to Sage. "Hold." She then picked up Caspian, resuming the process, and resuming to think while staring at the small boy. She frowned slightly as she thought, a bit worried. What if she hadn't tried hard enough? Or if the day wasn't all Sage had hoped for? Or he wasn't fully healed? Or a number of things went wrong? Anything could happen. She let out a slow breath, a little furrow in her brow.

Sage had settled down in the bed, happy to just watch Quinn with the kids. It was nice, he thought, to be able to just have the family dynamic going on. He chuckled when she handed him his daughter, and took Caspian. "Good morning darling," he sort of cooed in response to frynn, who let out a squeal of delight and promptly whacked him in the face joyfully. He chuckled at that and sort of let out a content sigh, as he absentmindedly let frynn move about on his chest as he lay there. He glanced over at Quinn, grunting when he noticed her brows start to pinch together. "Quinn, be happy," he teased gently. "It's our happy day, don't worry so much about it," he added, resting his head against her leg lightly. "I feel great and the babies are healthy and your pretty and the worst that could happen is me running into that coffee table for the hundredth time," he noted. He wouldn't regain his vision in his right eye....and as a result he'd ran into the corner of their furniture and stuff quite a few times as he got used to the cabin and area around it again.

Quinn let Caspian finish feeding before scooting back on the bed slightly, leaning on the wall. She stared off into space until Sage spoke, then glanced at him with a small huff. "I am happy." She retorted with a faint smile. "Who said I was worrying? I totally wasn't worrying." She chuckled lightly at his cheery speech, smiling. "It wouldn't be the hundredth, darling. That would be the thousandth." She teased lightly, but a slight feeling of sorrow settled in her heart as she glanced at the white bandage still over his right eye. It was the only one she had decided to leave on for longer, as she wanted to make sure it wasn't going to get infected. "I'll stop worrying if you let me check on your wounds." She finally said, not really asking as she already set Caspian gently down near Sage, then moved to inspect the first of his many wounds. They were all healing nicely with no infection, and she was content with the states of them. "What do you want for breakfast?" She asked lightly, grinning as Caspian let out the tiniest squeak and stared up at her. She picked the boy back up, kissing him on the nose. "You're adorable." She cooed, then turned her attention back to Sage for his answer, her emerald eyes glinting happily.

Sage snorted when she denied the fact that she was worrying and simply raised an eyebrow in response to her comment. "thanks," he grumbled when she said hundredth didn't really cover the times he'd run into something, though of course there was no malice in his voice. Though he shifted into a position where Quinn could easily run her hands along his body and check the wounds, while he watched her with slight amusement. "I'm fine Quinn," he mused gently, then gave her a mischievous grin as she moved to get Caspian. "Your touches would be a lot nicer if you were paying attention to other things than the mostly healed bullet holes," he purred, remembering their bit of banter back at the farm, and honestly rather hoping it come to fruition later that evening. "Whatever needs to be eaten before it goes bad," he noted in repsonse to her question about breakfast.

"You're so very welcome." Quinn answered sweetly to his grumbling, sounding absolutely overjoyed about the words. After she was completely finished checking his wounds, she snorted at him. "Fine doesn't cover it. I will write that on your gravestone, you know. 'He said he was fine. He was wrong'" she mocked jokingly, then grinned with amusement at his next words. "Key word: mostly. I have a right to be worried. However, I see the other things. I just don't pay attention to them.. yet." She lilted, smiling innocently at him before setting Caspian back down she so she could stand and get a move on. She nodded at his words, immediately going towards the place she kept the meat. She grabbed the last of the cow, disappearing outside as she started up a fire. Around twenty minutes later, the glorious smell of beef filtered through the air, and she stood to go inside. "Food's done." She said cheerfully, picking up Caspian and leaving Frynn to Sage as she walked back outside, to the well cooked delicious meat. After taking it off, she took a root from the pile and ate it, pleased with how everything was going. She was a bit excited for the night to come, worries pushed aside, as she was eager to see if Sage was going to make good on his hints. She glanced over at him as she was eating, her eyes landing on his toned torso, and although she was all about personality... she was sure glad he looked like that.

Sage couldn't help but laugh when Quinn threatened to write that on his gravestone, finding it probably rather fitting, in all honesty. "Whoever found that will either laugh or think way too hard about that," he noted with a chuckle, humming lightly when Quinn sort of half flirted back. "I see," he noted with a grin, moving to grab frynn when Quinn snatched Caspian, wandering outside slowly, so as not to run into something and possibly drop the baby. That wouldn't be good....oops, sorry hon I tripped over the table and dropped out daughter. Happy first anniversary! Yeah, he'd rather not that happen. Either way, he made it outside soon enough and plopped down by the fire, eating happily before cocking his head when he mentioned Quinn watching him. "What," he asked around a bite of cow, eyebrow rasing slightly. He was actually clueless as to what she wanted too...they hadn't had a chance to get intimate or anything so neither of them ever flirted or attempted to start anything ever...so the look on her eyes wasn't something he was used to. But maybe....maybe now they could do that sort of thing.

Quinn chuckled lightly at his words, looking amused. "Most people would probably think way to hard about it." She answered with a grin, finishing her food rather quickly, as there wasn't too much she needed. Scratch that, she had like, four bites, and she was full. It was kind of nice, she guessed, as there was more food for Sage- that was always good, as he ate a LOT. She let her eyes linger on his torso for a half second longer before glancing up at him as he spoke. "What?" She hadn't processed it immediately, but then it clicked. "Oh- sorry. I was preoccupied." She answered, failing to come up with anything else to say, as she hadn't really intended to stare. She should be focusing more on his healing and getting healthy again instead of daydreaming. She started getting the little things cleaned up, although she left meat for Sage if he wanted more, and she couldn't do too terribly much with Caspian in her arms. After all she could do in the moment was done, she went to sit down near Sage, her gaze roaming over the treetops, the sky, anything that moved, and anything that didn't move. So, everything.

Sage had chuckled in response to her comment, though was rather preoccupied with food himself so he supposed he just took it in stride and didn't care much about any of it. He finished eating soon enough, finishing off around a pound and a half of meat before flopping onto his back with a happy sigh, letting frynn bounce around on his chest, as she normally did. He'd gotten back to his normal weight pretty fast, and he was glad of it, since it wasn't exactly easy to keep a warriors build, even with werewolf muscles and bones and tendons and stuff. He grinned over at Quinn when she sat down by him though, resting his head against her thigh happily, just glad to be back at their home. He hadn't realized how much he'd missed it until there were a few days left until they could come home and all he could do was lay there. But they were back now, and they had a whole day ahead of them. And night too, as he figured both of them could use some intimacy and fun later on, after giving gifts and such.
