Ryker pretty much stared at Abby all the way there. When they got to the hotel he was flabbergasted. "You haven't talked the whole way back AND you're walking slow. Did someone die?" He asked, looking genuinely concerned as he gazed at her.

"No one died" she cracked out a laugh. She was nervous. She pressed the button for the elevator. "I'll tell you in a few minutes..." she pulled the bag closer to her as she stepped into the elevator. Three other people were in there when she stepped in, but thankfully it was a large elevator. When they got to their room, she looked down in the bag. "Gimme a second" she secretly put the small package in her pocket and went to the bathroom. She stared at the test on the counter, her hands fiddling with anything she could find. After a few minutes, she checked the test. Tears started forming and flowing down her face before she could even comprehend what was on the stick. "Ry- Ryker! Co- come here!" She had one hand on her mouth, her other hand shaking as she held the test. "You're gunna be a dad" she whispered softly

Ryker furrowed his eyebrows, concerned, but he silently followed her in and waited, a bit anxiously, as she disappeared. Why wouldn't she tell him? Was it bad? Was it good? Was it normal? What happened? Did he have to be worried? She would tell him right? As her shaky, teary voice came from the bathroom he bolted in, a little terrified at this point. He opened his mouth to speak and his eyes landed on the test, growing so wide they almost popped out of his head. A few strangled noises emitted from his throat before he went silent, in a state of shock. The entire world seemed to slow down. Those five words rang around his brain. He... what... a... a... a... father.. he was going to be a father. (I am not kidding I am crying right now writing this lol) for the first time in a long time, his eyes shimmered with tears, and as the first one leaked out and rolled down his cheek he threw his arms around Abby.

Abby put the test down and hugged Ryker back, her tiny arms giving him a squeeze. She couldn't even find words to describe how overjoyed she was. Her legs slowly decided it was time to peace out as she leaned into Rykers embrace. at this point they were shaking so much she couldn't even stand. She sniffled as tears streamed down her face. "I'm pregnant ... I'm actually pregnant" she squeezed Ryker again.

Ryker closed his eyes, not even knowing what to say or think. A very small part of him was freaking out, with all the what ifs swirling around, but he blocked it out. He held her tighter as she trembled, his head pretty much buried in her hair. "I love you so much. I can't believe- oh Abby." He whispered, not ever wanting to move. His brain was fried.

Abby was relying on Ryker so much already, but she knew she was going to rely on him so much more now. "I love you too Ryker. So much" she kissed his shoulder before pulling her head away and wiping her tears from down her cheeks. "I don't even know what to say" she trembled as her legs decided to take the task of holding her up again.

Ryker looked down at her as she pulled back slightly, using his finger to gently wipe a stray tear away. "You don't have to. I know." He hugged her again before guiding her over to the bed to sit down. "You're going to be the best mother ever.' He whispered.

Abby leaned into his hand as it gingerly wiped away her tears. She sat down beside Ryker, staring into space. Her head flicked toward Ryker "and you are going to be the best father ever. If it's a girl you'll help me teach her how to ride and sing and if it's a boy, you'll, again, teach him to ride and sing but you'll also show him how to fight." She smiled, proud of how much she actually knew about him.

"And sing? I couldn't teach the best singer in the world to sing. I suck at singing." He snorted a little, a smile flickering onto his face. "Yeah, teach him to fight so someday he can protect the girl of his dreams." He laughed lowly, looking out the window. 9 months later a little miracle would be born. The worry started now.

"Sing sing sing" she chanted, nudging him with her shoulder. "And don't lie. You have a great voice. Girl of his dreams? Hmm" she grinned and gazed up at Ryker. Abby looked down and placed her hands on her stomach. "I can't believe I get to have the ability to bring life into the world" she smiled and grabbed his hands, placing them against her stomach. "Our baby"
