Sage wrinkled his nose slightly and opened his arms wide. "Big ones she won't set off," he protested, though he supposed he didn't really care if there were land mines in the backyard or not. Then he shrugged at her suggestion. "Well I have them stored everywhere she can't get to," he hummed. "Maybe a secret sage or some would be nice. Oooo or a secret passageway," he giggled. He'd have fun with this ...making the house into a sort of secret castle type of setting with a cool underground bunker for a basement.

Max giggled "Whatever you want to do babe, as long as there's room for the kiddos and we don't stand out to people I really don't care much." she said happily before she got up and started picking up the house a bit before the sitter arrived. When Hailey arrived with the sitter the women gave them a smile, she was about 17 and wore a simple pair of jeans, a jacket and a shirt with some mint green converse sneakers, her dirty blonde hair was in a ponytail and she reached her hand out to shake their hands "Hi there, I'm Emma." she smiled "Maxine." Max replied "And this is my husband Sage." she said with a smile looking to sage after shaking Emma's hand "Nice to meet you both." she said happily before Max let her in.

Sage chuckled happily, already plotting out all sorts of cool secret passageways he could add onto the house. When they greeted the sitter, sage was rather surprised to see that she was only a couple years you get than he and Max. He'd sort of been expecting some grouchy old lady. Well, either way, both ages could have their flaws. He let Max introduce them, and said hello with a sort of grunt. He had to remind himself not to examine the girl like she was an enemy....he didn't exactly want to scare her off, and his looks tended to do that, especially with the outfit he chose to sport. He tried his best to keep a loose hold on her hand when they shook, though he was admittedly a bit tense to just up and leave their daughter with a stranger.

Emma smiled and sat on the couch "Uhm do you have any questions for me?" she asked curiously "I'm certified in CPR... and I always have fun activities planned for kids in a veriety of ages." she said with a smile pulling out a piece of paper with her certification on it as well as another with recommendations from other parents she'd babysat for over the last two years "I'm saving up to try and help my folks pay for collage." she smiled.

Sage eyed the girl slightly as she spoke before glancing over at Max to see if she'd speak up. Once she didn't, he shrugged and sighed. "No...but a fair warning, there's weapons around," he told the girl. "Nowhere charlie can reach of course....but make sure she doesn't somehow find a way to climb up on things or unlock things that shouldn't be unlocked." He shrugged slightly. "Nonen of the guns are loaded, but the knives are a bit harder to keep from hurting her if she does somehow happen to find one," he said with a hint of amusement in his voice. Maybe that was a bit...odd? Out of the normal? Forward?...for the girl. But whatever, she could handle it or leave.

Max didn't have any questions or concerns... and if she did she was certain Sage would field them. Emma chuckled "No problem, my dad hunts too... as long as they're not where she can get to them and are where I can get to them should I need them I don't have an issue." she assured him as Charlie crawled over to be picked up by her father "I take it this is Charlie?" she asked. Max smiled and gave a nod "Yup, just turned a year old." she smiled "Aw how sweet..." she cooed happily "I think I've got something in my bag for her if you don't mind?" she asked as she pulled her backpack she'd been wearing up from the floor and into her lap sifting through it for a moment before she grabbed out a crinkly baby toy offering it to Charlie who took it squishing it for a few moments before she instantly put it into her mouth and started chewing the wing of the crinkle butterfly she'd been given.

Sage grunted and nodded, slightly more reassured that the girl knew her way around the weapons, at least a little bit. "Can you use one," he asked. "You never know when you'll have to," he hummed lightly. He grinned down at Charlie and scooped her up happily when she crawled over to him, chuckling when she put the toy right in her mouth. "She's starting to teethe," he told the girl. "we're planning on getting something for her to chew on soon, but fair warning....don't wear any dangle jewelry," he chuckled. "She'll grab it first thing."

"Want me to prove it?" She offered raising a brow "Just show me where I can shoot." She said simply with a shrug before chuckling "I never wear jewelry with any kids under 6 so you don't have to worry about that." She assured with a chuckle "I did when I first started but I figured out really quickly that I would lose a lot of rings if I continued to wear jewelry..." She chuckled.

Sage waved her off with a slight chuckle. "I'll trust you to shoot well enough," he mused lightly. Then he grunted with a nod. "I had to switch up my style when this little gremlin came along," he noted, looking down at Charlie lovingly, and tapped his earring. "I like the dangle ones...but the stuff has to do for now," he chuckled. "And she still tries to rip off my ear."
