Sage just shook his head with a sigh, rubbing his hand on his achy chest. "I just needed to cough and didn't want to wake you,* he noted quietly

"Why....why is there...blood?" She asked softly. "Sage, let me help you..."

Sage sighed softly and shook his head. "I don't know," he admitted. "It....it's hadn't done that before," he admitted.

"I don't care about cost, we're getting you to the doctor. Now." She demanded, a concerned and frustrated look on her face. She went and grabbed the car keys and then Liz before going to grab Sage

Sage had started to protest, but soon enough gave up. He knew she was right....but he knew they didn't have much money. He let her help him out to the car though, pretty much falling into the seat by the time they got there.

Amira got the nearest nurse, her looking quite concerned and getting Sage along with a few other nurses
|

Sage protested a little bit, though didn't have the energy to fight the doctors as they got him into the room and on a bed, chest heaving as he fought for air in-between coughing. The doctors were quick to put a mask on him, with oxygen, and gave him something to help with the coughing since he was continuously spitting up blood by then.

Amira held Liz, bouncing her a bit as she mentally freaked out

Sage was rather over this whole doctor thing, though at some point he'd passed out after they'd injected him with... something. He heard something about emergency surgery, but was out cold before he could really process much about that.

Amira, tears in her eyes and holding a sleeping Liz, waited anxiously
