"And I promise you, we will have that, together,"

Sera nodded slowly, her fingers gently curling into the fabric of his shirt as she rested against him. “I believe you,” she whispered, eyes fluttering closed for a moment. “And I’ll keep holding onto that, even when it’s hard.” She tilted her face up again, catching his gaze with a soft, steady look. “You and me, Finn. No matter what.” Her thumb brushed over the back of his hand as she smiled, the ache in her chest easing just a little. “And when it happens… our family… it’s going to be so full of love.”

Finn smiled. "I can't wait..." he hummed softly. "Finn and Sera against the world,"

Sera’s lips curled into a tender smile, her heart warming at his words. She leaned in closer, nuzzling into his chest as she whispered, “Always has been. Always will be.” Her fingers traced soft, lazy circles along his side, anchoring herself in the comfort of him.

Finn smiled, nuzzling his nose into her hair.

Sera closed her eyes as she felt his nose brush through her hair, a gentle warmth settling in her chest. She let out a soft breath, her fingers curling into his shirt as if she could pull him even closer. “Don’t go anywhere,” she whispered, voice barely audible but filled with quiet emotion. “Just stay right here, like this, for a little while longer.” The world outside didn’t matter. Not the doctor’s appointment, not the ache in her chest, not even the lingering questions. All that mattered was this—his arms around her, his quiet love. “I feel safe like this,” she murmured, pressing a small kiss against his collarbone. “Like nothing could ever hurt me while you’re here.”

"I promise I won't go," he whispered, holding her tight. "Im so excited for our future together..." he whispered. "You'll walk down to me in a white dress and I'll kiss you in front of our friends and family up on the altar after the officiant declares us husband and wife... we'll buy a house out in the country and right here," he paused gently touching her belly. "We'll start our family together... we'll sit on our porch, holding hands as we sip on our coffee and watch our kids run around in the yard, playing..."

Sera’s breath hitched softly at his words, her heart swelling with every image he painted. She clung to him, tears pooling in her eyes—not from sadness, but from the overwhelming tenderness of the future he spoke of, a dream she’d barely dared to let herself believe could be real. Her hand slid over his, resting on her stomach where he touched, and she let out a shaky breath. “That sounds like everything I’ve ever wanted,” she whispered. “You, a little house, a family… a life full of love and quiet mornings and laughter in the yard.” She smiled through the mist in her eyes, nuzzling into his chest. “You make it all feel so possible, Finn. Like we could really have it… all of it. And I want that future with you—every part of it.” She kissed his jaw softly, then whispered, “You’re my home. Wherever you are… that’s where my forever starts.”

Sera let the words settle between them, her fingers curling gently into his shirt like she never wanted to let go. Her heart felt so full it ached, like all the broken pieces inside of her were finally mending just by being in his arms.
