Lunch rolled around a few hours later and Lucille happily made her way over to Leim and their friends. |

Leim smiled once he seen her " babe I got you something " he said and all his friends looked to her as she walked up |

Lucille smiled, sitting down next to him, "yeah?" |

" he pulled out a dark blue velvet box and opened it, inside was a silver ring with three dimonds, " it's not an engagement ring it's just a promise ring, but do you promise not to leave me no matter what we go through " he asked |

Lucille's eyes went wide and sad. This isn't what she wanted. They were in the middle of their school cafeteria, surrounded by people. It wasnt special, it wasn't private, it wasn't loving... she could feel everyone's eyes on her, looking at her for an answer. How could he expect her to do this? She grabbed his arm, dragging him out into the hall. Now away from prying eyes, she whirled around at him. "What the hell?! In the middle of the cafeteria?!" |

" it's just a promise ring what's wrong I wasn't proposing" he asked he didn't know what he did wrong, he knew she said she wanted to get proposed to in private but she never said anything about a promise ring, he was honestly confused, he thought that it would be ok if he did it In front of friends. |

"Because its still important! Why?! Why would you even think to do that!! In the middle of school?!" |

Leim was confused " because I didn't think anything of it I'm sorry" he grabbed the ring and gave it to here then walked away to the secret class room, he honestly didn't know what was wrong, why did he have to keep messing up, she was his first everything and he always messes it up |

Lucille refused to take the ring, shoving it back at him and storming off to her class. Even though it was just a promise ring, it was still important and special. |

Once Leim heard the class bell ring for all the students to be in clas leim walked out and got in his truck and drove off, he had tears in his eyes and his vision was blurry he didn't see the semi that was about to hit him head on, the semi hit him head on but Leim did try to avoid it, he had to get life listed to a hospital, the ring was still in his hand , he never let the ring go. |
