She shrugged. "Happened before. I found him with four other girls over and he straight up said I got boring and he told me to leave. And I did. He wasn't a good man, abusive and an alcoholic as well as might have held a gun to my head but it's all fuzzy" |

"FOUR--he held a gun to your head?" Caden asked, shocked. "Wow, you absolutely did not deserve any of that." |

She shrugged again. "If you feel the same, tell me and I'll leave. Doesn't mean it won't hurt because I am so fucking in love with you but I'd understand" |
