Sage wanted this place to be as clean and baby safe as possible. Ivy would start moving around much more as she grew a bit older, and really he'd like to make a nice door for the cave entrances, so she couldn't wander off on her own

Remy continued to play with Ivy.

Sage did keep an eye on them, finding himself just...watching them, faint smile on his face. He did need to get work done though, so he got to work collecting some driftwood and kelp that was super strong. By the time he did that though, it was dinnertime, so he rushed back, shoving all the supplies somewhere safe and then scrambling to start making food, not wanting Remy to be hungry.

Remy swam out to the main room, a sleeping Ivy in his arms. "Want me to go hunt? Or are you gonna go?"

Sage shook his head when he noticed ivy sleeping. "I can, it's fine. Don't bother her," he noted, slightly breathless from swimming around trying to get everything done. Really, he could use some help....but ivy was comfortable, and he wanted to be able to do all this for his family. One hand did make gathering materials and whatnot more difficult than he'd expected, but even so he should be able to fix dinner fine

Remy shook his head. "Honey, take the baby and rest, you deserve it. I'll go hunt," he said gently.

Sage heasitated for a moment before sighing and nodding, shifting to hand Remy the basket and then take ivy as gently as he could. "Thanks babe," he murmured, almost shyly

Remy smiled, pecking his cheek. "Anytime, love," he murmured, leaving. "Nice door by the way," he chuckled.

Sage grunted softly and nodded before waving Remy off. "It's not done," he noted with a fond roll of his eyes, settling down in the nest to catch his breath after he left

"Its still good," he smiled, swimming off to hunt.
