Rose looked at him skeptically. "Who?" She asked as Caden hugged the woman. She wasn't jealous, nesacarrily, just a little defensive and concerned along with a small pang of jealousy. "Please tell me who this is, Caden" She softly demanded, crossing her arms

"Oh my gosh,I have'nt seen you in years!" He exclaims,turning back to Rose. "Melonie,Rose.Rose,Melonie.Melonie,this is Rose,my girlfriend.Rose,this is Melonie,my best friend and saver.She stopped me from actually killing myself the first time.Please don't hate eachother." He lowered his voice. "She's a bit older then me so no,Im not going to date her or anything.We're just friends,ok?" He asks,turning back. "Well,Chuck has asked me to the study,it'd be best you talk." Caden smiled and walked to the study,Chuck awaiting. "Well,when will we target her and what gun am I using?"

"Well,Rose.Im Melonie,as you know,me and Caden are really good friends.That's why I know him." A tall man walked up,blonde,slightly curly hair,blue eyes,tan skin,and cream suit. "This is my boyfriend,Treyce."

"Nice to meet you. Where did you guys meet? You and Caden." She said, her arms still crossed but a smile on her face that she tried keeping normal-looking. She listened to Melonie before asking another question. "And how did you meet your boyfriend?" Really, she was just making small talk while waiting for Caden. She listened as the chirpy woman talked, her boyfriend' arm around her waist the enitre time.

"Funny story,actually.Don't get mad.So,we matchedon Tinder,went to a date,confessed to eachother we just wanted to be friends,and then he tried to kill himself the first time.In which I came in.So our bond strenghtned and now we're here.Kinda same with Treyce.We matched on Tinder,and went on a successful date.Me and him were dating by the end of the night and meeting eachothers parents." She says,grinning. "How did you and Caden meet?" She asks,leaning onto Treyce's shoulder.

"I liked him all through junior year, and halfway through senior year until I finally went up to him after one of his games. He kissed me a couple days later, and we called it there." She smiled more genuinely. "He came to a couple of my games and I had always gone to his before dating, so we continued to do that until my season ended. Currently, we just do everything together and he still loves me, so he's kinda stuck with me." She giggled, a bit forced, and non-chalently checked her phone for anything from Caden

"Mm,sounds nice.Well,Treyce,we need to go.Good meeting you!" She says,walking off.Her hand slips away from Treyce,pushing him off her. "Good act.Good act." She complements. "Thanks,good act too." Treyce answers.

Caden walked out of the study spotting Melonie. "Hey." He says,greeting her.She smiles and hands him a glass of wine.Caden takes many sips,feeling queezy.He felt her grasp his arm and pull him away,upstairs.They entered a room and she grasp his face,leaning in and forcing his lips to hers,right as his vision blurs out,extinguishing like a lightbolb.

Rose waits anxiously for a few minutes before spotting Melonie walking off with Caden. "What the?" She muttered, following a couple yeards behind them. As they enter a room, Rose waited anxiously as the door nearly shut in her face. She checked the spot she usually kept her gun, but then remembered she had taken it out as she had gotten dressed. Shit. Not even a knife? Fuck. She contimplated different ways to get in, thinking about if there might be a window on the other side but remembered they were 2 storeys off the ground. Shit. What do I have on me? A necklace and nothing else

Caden awoke soon after,eyes fluttering open,shirt off. "What th-" Melonie placed a finger over his mouth. "Shush." She says,tracing his jawline. "The heck did you do?" Caden asks groggily. "Oh well,nothing to be concerned about." Caden sighed and stood. "Where is my suit jacket?" He asks,pissed.Melonie rolls her eyes and hands it to him.He snatches it and puts it on,leaving the shirt unbuttoned. "Go die in a hole." He says,banging open the door and storming out,hurrying down the stairs,fuming.His eyes darted around looking for Rose. "Where'd she go?"

Rose followed behind Caden, placing a hand on his arm. "Right here. You good?" She asked, glancing back

"Pissed off but,sure,im fine.We're leaving." He says,storming out of the house.Caden staretd the McLaren from a distance,finding a group piling up on it. "Get up!Go away!" He yelled,startling the group.They walked off,looking back.Caden just sighed and hopped in the car,waiting on Rose to hop in.When she did,he drove with two hands,not one,as one hand was the usual.
