She sat up, and looked at him, noticing tear stains on his face. "Are you alright?" She asked. |

Dylan Montgomery - Dylan wiped his wet face, removing the remaining tears quickly. "Yeah, I'm okay," |

"No, you're crying." She observed. "Talk to me, Dylan. What's wrong?" |

Dylan Montgomery - Dylan let go of her hand. "I'm fine, really, I'm fine..." he insisted, wiping away tears again. |

She pulled him into a hug, letting him break down. "Dylan, what's wrong?" She asked. |

Dylan Montgomery - Dylan sighed and hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her and burying his face in her hair. "I thought I was going to lose you..." he whispered. After a couple of moments, he began to explain. "When I was 12, my best friend had horses. He used to invite me over after school every day so we could go out riding or just hang out with the horses. One day, he was showing me his new gelding, and the damn horse reared and... my friend was standing too close... the horse's hooves hit his head, and he just collapsed... he died... right in front of me..." |

She looked at him, stunned. "Oh, Dylan... I'm sorry you had to witness that. I really am." She stated. "I'm sorry I scared you."
