Andi nodded slightly "Yeah they are... Super hard to adjust to that especially after being in a nice small town but I've gotten used to it" She said with a small shrug before accepting his offer on some of his fries. It really was hard to adjust to such a busy life but she had gotten used to it with a few tears along the way. She glanced at the clock then back at Trevor "What time do you get off work?" She asked with a small tilt of her head

He nodded in agreement to what Andi said about the city being different from smaller towns. Trevor had grown up in a city but usually he was sent to a summer camp for the entire summer before returning home for school. "I'm suppose to get off of work at 10," he says as he tosses a smaller fry in his mouth, "but I usually don't get out of here until 10:30, since I'm usually the one to double check everything before locking up."

Andi took another sip of her coffee which was almost empty by now, knowing that sent a small frown on her face that she quickly got rid of. She listened to Trevor then nodded, she thought about things for a second so there was a brief moment of silence "Is it okay if after my work is done that I come by here..." She said this slowly as if unsure if she should ask her question but after a small sigh she did "Basically after I get off work can I come over here so we can walk home together? I get off around 9 but I wouldn't mind waiting

He chuckled some and nodded, "Yeah that's fine with me. Still worried about walking home alone huh?" He soon finished his food and put the trash back in the bag he had taken the food out of. Trevor then heard his boss calling for him to get back to work and he sighed as he stood up and threw the trash away. "I guess I should get back to work," he says with a smile to Andi, "see you later then." He gave her a wave before heading for the employees only door and walking in to get his apron on and get back to work.

Andi shrugged with a sheepish smile "Yeah just a little bit" She said before looking back as someone called him. She assumed it was his boss and she guessed right as he stood up "Okay good luck with the rest of your customers" She said while gathering her things then standing up "Yes see you later Trevor" She flashed a smile before turning around and heading out the door back to the salon

Once he had his apron on Trevor walked out of the door and behind the counter to the register. There were already customers waiting once he reached the counter. Immediately the coffee shop became filled with customers. 'What luck,' he thinks as he begins to take orders. Trevor and the other workers began to take orders and make them, switching places occasionally.

Andi eventually got back to the salon seeing that her client was already there. Was she a little late? Yes but she really didn't care. She took her client back and seated her at her station before putitng her stuff down and getting to work right away. It felt like forever before 9pm hit and her last client away. She let out a heavy sigh as she started to clean up her station which she did quickly so that she could be over at the cafe. After cleaning up for the night she grabbed all her things and headed out the door making it to the cafe. She sat at a back table before taking a glance around to try and spot Trevor

Once 9pm came along the coffee shop was still quite busy, but it was more under control. Trevor said goodbye to the customer at the end of the line and looked around the cafe. He noticed Andi sitting at one of the back tables and waved some at her. Another customer walked up and Trevor took their order and called it back to one of his coworkers.

Andi smiled seeing Trevor wave she waved back quickly before the next customer stepped up. She was happy to know he knew she was there and decided to let him work so she just went on her phone for the rest of the time while she waited. Occassionally she would glance up at him at every loud noise to make sure everything was fine before putting her gaze back down at her phone

He smiled seeing Andi wave back at him before greeting the new customer. As the night grew later, more people began to show up since they worked the night shifts at places. Trevor switched places with one of his coworkers who was quicker at taking orders than making them. Trevor on the other hand was rather quick at making certain coffee orders and worked decently under pressure, so they made a good combination. Time flew by much quicker as Trevor focused on orders more than looking at the time. Soon it was 10pm and someone went over and flipped the sign to closed after the last customer had left. "Who's that back there," one of his colleagues asks. "Oh she's with me," Trevor says as the walk to the back. He waits for everyone else to leave before starting to clean up.
