Training up before breeding helps. Some mares go years without producing well. Stallions have a higher chance of giving good foals due to more chance of having foals.
Watching stats is only a main factor. Then there’s watching how they produce foals. And how they show.
The reason it’s so hard is because only very serious players can get their horses on the LBs. I have played years and only a few of my homebred horses have made it on a LB.

03:17:24 Athena - AAs
Well yeah but than how can she be strong and yet have shitty foals. Not just once or twice. Every single time

is black chestnut just a random roll of a chestnut? Have a set where the parents are the same, Gene tests are the same but one is BC and the other is just a Chestnut

On my side I had really nice RIDs and everyone could not understand how I got them (and neither did I to be honest) and then I had a spiral of bad ones. And now its trying to fish for the nice ones again

And? I have bred plenty of LB horses but I also get bad training and bad producers. But if I give up I wont get anything

Lion turned slightly, surveying the other side of the tree. He obviously did not tell Pride this.... but he probably needed to get home to his territory. It being left unguarded for so long.. and being right next to Roman's territory... meant that Lion may not HAVE a territory when he came back.

Lion looked at her with a slightly amused glance. "And now you say that." He snorted, starting out of the tree and lengenthing into a slow gallop.

Lion sniffed, reaching the border of his territory. He slowed to a canter, then a Trot, going to the center before stopping. "Ahh, welcome home.." he murmured, almost to himself

"so now i live here?" she joked. she snuggled up against the tall-ish stallion. (well all horses seem tall to a pony cross)

(Hmm... but he is tall XD. 18 hh... and a pony is 14.2 or less so that's a GIANT difference LOL)

Lion looked down at her and rolled his eyes. "You said you're staying?" He slightly teased, his deep voice resonant. He had gotten much better at teasing... when he was younger he probably would have started a fight

"well, the stud right next to us might hate me and target me so what should i do? stay with the handsom stallion here or leave and probaly get killed?" she teased. she lifted her muzzle and stared into his eyes as a sign of love.

"Hmm... I'll have to think about that. I mean, I wouldn't kill you so who's the handsome stallion?" Lion snorted, his dark eyes twinkling.
