He chuckled. "Lucky for you, baggy clothes fit in better out there. You'll want something skin tight for under things once it gets cold, but we don't need to bother with that today. For now, grab some hoddies and tank tops or tshirts, and maybe some pants if you need them." He thought for a second. "It'll be easy for you. I'm gonna change styles into the whole emo bad boy thing - people looking for us aren't gonna think I would wear something like that because I'd stand out a bit." He shrugged. "It's too obvious. They shouldn't look twice at me in that, but it also means I need a whole new outfit," he chuckled. |

Maxine nodded "Good point..." She admitted giving a small nod before she led the way to the men's clothes "Were not gonna be on the street all the time though... I can get us like a hotel room or something for a night... I'd still at least like to try and keep up on showering a little..." She said with a smile "Among other things..." She teased playfully kissing his cheek before she began going through the clothing wracks. She picked out some things for herself before turning to Sage "I'm gonna go grab some closer fitting stuff I'll be back." She said smiling and giving him a gentle kiss before she headed off. Roxie appeared shortly after Max had gone "I knew you liked her but damn... I'm impressed... Expressing affection physically and verbally? Wowzers..." She smirked "Good luck with that..." She chuckled "By the way we decided to give you two a two day head start... The hunt is much more fun for us anyways..." She chuckled. |

Sage rolled his eyes and turned to face Roxie with a smirk. "Then all I have to say is watch your back. Death doesn't own me anymore, which means I can use powers he restricted now." He crossed his arms and cocked his head slightly. "Two days, huh? Are you sure you big heavy morons can catch up?" He was lighter and smaller than Roxie and her goons, but that meant he was faster. And he liked to think he was smarter, but he was also a bit biased towards himself. Roxie was a jerk. He turned with a careless shrug and waved as he walked away. "Enjoy the hunt while you can, I guess. You'll fail soon enough." And with those words he was out of her sight, grabbing clothes and other things he would need or have use for. |

"Death may not own you but Maxine does..." She smirked "Who said she's gonna let you use those powers?" She asked with a chuckle "That's the thing about humans... They're going to have way more emotions... If she finds out what you can do she'll be terrified and she'll never let you use those powers... Not knowing that it practically leaves you defenseless..." She chuckled "I'm sure we can... Especially with the company you'll be keeping... The good thing about humans... Especially the company you'll be keeping... is they'll do almost anything for money or pleasure... And we can do both." She smirked before chuckling "Oh we will." She purred happily before disappearing. Max gave a smile when Sage found her "Hey, you get what you needed?" She asked curiously. |

He grinned and held up a pile of stuff. "I think so." He looked around the store, thinking. "Is there anything else we would need to get while we're here?" He was thinking about what Roxie had said, and tried not to let it get to him. Maxine let him consume souls, so she would let him use powers in a fight. Right? He certainly hoped so, because he could fight well with just his dagger, but if he was fighting another demon...those powers were life or death. Well, and regeneration, but it took a lot of energy to regenerate, and he had a feeling that if he died, Roxie (or whatever demon had killed him) would just keep killing him. And what did Roxie mean when she said humans would do anything for money? He had angered quite a few monster hunters - would Roxie hire them to try and catch him? Or would she try bribing Maxine? |

Max smiled "Alright then." She chirped happily "And no I don't think so..." She admitted "Let's go get checked out and get going." She smiled kissing his cheek. When they headed out again Maxine drove "Anywhere you want to go?" She called back "Any places you haven't gotten to see?" She asked glancing at him through her side mirror "I mean we have a good excuse..." She chuckled "To see the places we haven't seen before." She admitted. |

He chuckled and shook his head. "I've been pretty much all over the place. You pick somewhere to go, and I'll change later." He was completely changing what he would be wearing so it would take a bit, and he would have to get rid of the outfit he was wearing now. He should also tell her about Roxie, he figured. But that could wait until they weren't riding a motorcycle - telling someone news like that while they were trying to drive probably wouldn't be the smartest idea. |

Maxine chuckled "Okay... Well... I've had enough of the city... Let's go for the opposite and go somewhere with a lot of farm land and stuff..." She smiled "I'd love to see the animals." She admitted happily. |

He nodded and smiled. "Sounds good to me." He would enjoy farm animals, the only animals he had ever been around (if he didn't count the other demons) were the street rats, and they weren't exactly enjoyable to be around. "Theres some farmland and woodland areas about an hour south of here." He pointed in the direction it was in. "I've slept in the barn there a few times. No one lives there anymore but it's still in good condition, and theres plenty of animals around." |

"Thats... Perfect." she smiled before she turned in the direction he'd pointed "Just gimmie directions." she smiled. When they arrived she pulled into the barn and and into of the stalls "There we go, even a spot for the bike." she chirped happily leaving the stall "For an old barn this is still really nice." she said happily looking around before she looked at him "Its perfect for a temporary home." she said happily. |
